Chicago Food Tour: Chicago-Style Pizza, Beer, Brownies, and Hot Dogs
US$55.35
Overview
Combine tastes of Chicago's most famous foods with stops at local must-see landmarks on a single tour. Instead of spending the day chasing down these foods and highlights on your own, save valuable vacation time by leaving the navigation to someone else. Learn all you ever wanted to know about Chicago's history, both architectural and culinary, through guide commentary over the course of a 1.5-mile (2.4-kilometer) walk.
What to Expect
Begin your day tasting Chicago’s most famous dishes with—what else?—a stop at the famous Giordano’s Pizzeria. You’ll meet your guide and group of fellow food-lovers there, where you’ll taste deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza before proceeding on your walking loop through downtown. Stroll outside on the surface streets, or if the weather is chilly, head inside to stay on the Chicago Pedway system, which keeps you warm and indoors through most of the walk.

For a dose of Chicago history, step inside the Palmer House Hotel, opened in 1875 and the site of much Chicago lore. Head to Millennium Park to learn about its recent inception and its role as Chicago landmark, then walk along the Chicago River in pursuit of other tastes, such as local craft beer, hot dogs, brownies, and more. All tastings are included, which means you won’t have to pull out your wallet once.

We got to see a lot more of the city than we thought we would.

Daniela our tour guide was patient, informative and fun guide. Highlighting history and people along the way was a great and fun way to see the city on a bike

Fun Tour

I would highly recommend this tour! Perry & Ditto were a great team, giving the tour group interesting highlights of Chicago’s history while tieing it back to the food & beer we sampled along the way.

excellent fun tour!

Great tour. Loved Giordino's pizza to start. Our guide was very informative and walked at a good enough pace to hear and see. Learned lots of interesting facts about Chicago. Would definitely recommend this tour and company.

You could get cheese pizza, have the drinks at those locations, the brownie, you'd have to skip the hot dog... if you get a good guide the information and walk is worth it!!
