A Taste of South Beach Food Tour

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
Join a local on a culinary adventure! We are Miami’s first food and culinary tour company whose goal is to turn Miami’s visitors into locals. As culinary and cultural storytellers, we are passionate about sharing Miami’s rich and sometimes dramatic history and allowing guests to “taste” the local culture. Discover Miami’s unique Art Deco district, spanning from Lincoln Rd to Espanola Way and Ocean Dr, through the locals’ favorite mouth-watering restaurants and cafés. Taste the melting pot of Miami, learn about the dramatic history of South Beach and witness the preservation of the Art Deco District on this 3-hour stroll. Finish the tour with an insider view into South Beach, a satisfied stomach and confidence to continue exploring the area. Take the tour in lieu of lunch or dinner.
  • Visit five South Beach restaurants in one tour
  • Sample cuisines from around the world
  • Learn about the history, architecture, and culture of South Beach
  • Skip the tourist traps and get the inside scoop from a local foodie
What to Expect
Get the inside scoop on the South Beach food scene on this fun outing that replaces lunch or dinner. Meet your local guide at The Café at Books & Books and taste the indie bookstore’s fresh New American cuisine (avocado salsa, hummus with tahini, Florida sweet corn salsa, and yuca fries). Then, it’s on to family-owned Bella Cuba for Cuban tamales, egg rolls, plantains, and virgin mojitos. Next up: Peruvian fare at Chalan on the Beach, featuring ceviche and lomo saltado, a traditional stir-fry with strips of sirloin and vegetables. Moving on to dessert, enjoy a bombolone (traditional Italian doughnut) at Andrix Café, followed by freshly made kosher ice cream and sorbet at The Frieze Ice Cream Factory. Go beyond the tourist traps for an insider perspective on SoBe’s best eats, with a sprinkling of storytelling, history, and architecture lessons thrown in along the way.
