About
Ready to soar to the top of a little-known trailhead ridge in Griffith Park -- smack in the middle of LA's city sprawl -- for insane 360 degree views of the H✩llyw✩✩d Sign and Griffith Observatory? Skip the lines like a VIP at Griffith Observatory, gliding past parked cars and pedestrians puffing uphill on Mount Hollywood? Discover other wickedly cool cultural landmarks/museums, bridges, tunnels and the LA River? Plus meet hikers, horses, hawks and hopefully a bobcat (!) Our 3 hour ride - across 18 miles of Griffith Park and Eastside LA - starts and ends in adorable Atwater Village, an easily walkable neighborhood beloved for its artisanal shopping and gourmet cafe scene. Whilst our small-group tours are suitable for all ability levels, you should at least know how to ride a regular bike. Sense of Humor is essential.

      Must Do!
We took a great trip on a June morning-before it got too hot. Richie was our tour guide and was assisted by Eve. The bikes were in excellent shape and Richie made sure we were all comfortable before hitting the road. Helmets, safety vests, water and snacks were included with the bikes. The four inch wide bike tires made it easy to ride on the various surfaces we encountered (asphalt, dirt, concrete). We rode about 18 miles and saw all of the famous sights in Griffen Park and by mid-ride we were at the top with fantastic LA views. We even saw rabbits and coyotes. I hope to take their other tour offerings the next time I am in LA.

My new favourite way to see LA!!
I had THE BEST time on this E-Bike LA tour! I had been to LA a couple of times before but only really explored the typical hot spots so this tour was SO different and so much fun! Our guide Gavin was really accommodating and enthusiastic and had a lot of local knowledge about these cool pockets of LA that we rode through. It was a totally unique experience. Also, I personally can only stand riding a regular bike for a short while before I get too uncomfortable or tired from peddling, but the E-bikes are awesome! Having the bike take over when you are tired of peddling was a game changer. Thankfully, Gavin kept the pace at a reasonable speed for us so I was able to enjoy the route and soak in the sights and not have to think about much other than that! It was a great way to see a completely different side of LA. I am definitely coming back for another tour and bringing friends! Thumbs UP!

Best way to see and learn about the city!!
My friend and I had the most fun on the Half Day in LA Downtown tour! I've lived in LA for 20 years but have never been to some of the places along the route. The e-bikes are such a cool and special way to see the city from a different perspective! I highly recommend this tour- you won't regret it!

A much better way to see the city and park.
This was such a fun tour. It's a very unique and adventurous way to see the park and the city. Being able to see everything by bike helped peel back more layers rather than being stuck in a car. The bikes took us places cars can't go and gave sweeping views of the city. Gavin has deep knowledge of it all... the route, the sights and the safest ways to get there. My only regret is not taking any pics. I will be doing another tour and bringing my camera.

      Wild and wooly with @ebiketoursla!
Wild and wooly Griffith Park ride with @ebiketoursla the day after massive rainfall was an ocular & cellular explosion of senses. I highly recommend it. Ever notice the clumpy bits along trails, all rutted and rocky? They were streams crossing our path, carrying away excess water from the still weeping soils. Dry arroyos magically flowed and tumbled lightly alongside our glide up into the secret part of the park that may have housed notorious P-22: Los Angeles’ beloved late lion. Grab a friend and reserve this ride and see for yourself the delights that lie in your own backyard.

Amazing e-bike tour around Griffith Park
I met up with Gavin my tour guide at his office in Atwater Village and he gave me a safety and instructional tour of the Aventon bikes we were riding. They are very robust machines with huge tires which make you feel very safe and comfortable! After stocking up on a few drinks and snacks we were off zooming down the bike paths of the LA river on our way to Griffith Park. We did a few stops on the way at the Autry museum, LA Zoo, Travel Museum and Gavin was constantly feeding me with information and history about spots along our route. It wasn’t long before we were climbing up the backside of the park with spectacular views of The San Fernando Valley. I’ve ridden my peddle bike up to The Observatory a few times and believe me this is a lot more enjoyable! You still have to peddle but going uphill at 15+ mph is quite the experience! Once at the summit we stopped to take pictures, drink and eat snacks and Gavin continued to feed me with information about the parks history and point out interesting sights such as Catalina Island and all the neighbourhoods you can see from “The Top Of LA” The decent was just as fun as the climb and after 3 hours I’m actually looking to buy my first e-bike! Thanks for a great day Gavin!

What a wonderful day! What beautiful views! Gavin’s guided tour is packed with knowledge and humor. The bikes are intuitive to ride and make easy work of the steep climbs. I’ve enthusiastically recommended the experience to friends, family and the vaguest of acquaintances.

E-Bike Tours provides a personalized off road tour of the real Los Angeles.

I’m local to LA and my friend is from Scotland. We both felt like we were transported to our childhoods on a morning’s adventure.

If you want an easy or as hard as you like, ride up hills with majestic views, this your jam. (The Electric bike has different levels of power for every fitness level),

Recently took my family on a bike tour around Griffith Park with Gavin as our tour guide. I’ve lived in LA for 10 years and frequented Griffith Park many times but I never knew it had so many secrets. Gavin is a very enthusiastic, entertaining and professional tour guide and I can’t recommend taking a tour with him highly enough!! Seriously by far one of the best things I’ve ever done in LA!
Well be back soon to join you on the downtown/Elysian Park ride Gavin, the kids are getting excited about it already!!

What a delight!!!! My face hurts from smiling so much. I had no idea there was so much to discover in LA, and I had no idea it could be so much fun seeing sights I never knew existed and learning fascinating facts about this fabulous city. Being on an e-bike and accessing the backroads of LA was a dream, (I love the throttle!). I can’t wait to do this again with all my local friends, they’re gonna be blown away with all that’s to be discovered. So. Much. Fun.

Amazing day with EBike Tours LA! Who would have known what fun it would be to ride an electric bike! We had an absolute blast. Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable about the area but he was hilarious to boot. Highly recommend going with these guys for a fun afternoon out to see some lesser known sites of LA. 👌👌👌

I’ve been a resident of La for 23 years. It has changed so much since we all went through the pandemic. For the last two years we’ve considered moving. The magic just wasn’t there. This tour showed me pockets of life that I could never see driving around. I’m in love all over again and it feels fresh! If you want an intimate look into why everyone that loves the city isn’t crazy…this is it. There’s no place like LA on earth and it looks even better when explained in a brilliant Australian accent. Book now!! Thank you Gavin. I needed that and will now send everyone I know your way. Great meeting you!

What can I say about our experience with Gavin and Shellie-Anne? From first email to our goodbyes everything was just perfect. Extremely professionals, bikes were top notch quality. Stylish helmets. Lots of place to park around. The tour itself is beautiful, it is another way to see Los Angeles. You can forget you are in a busy big city out there. Shellie-Anne knew that it was my B-Day the day before. Bikes were decorated for me 🥰, she had her festive hat and pastries to celebrate 😁 Gavin knows the area really well and loves nature and what he does. We learned a lot. It was wonderful. Many thanks to the both of you. We plan to come back with the girls for a downtown tour 😊 I highly recommend this tour 🙏🏻

I actually live in LA so I wasn’t sure how much I needed a “guide” as I’ve ridden my bike through Griffith park probably 100 times, but my daughter was home from college and I wanted to do something fun and out of the box with her. Boy am I so glad we did! The electric bikes allow to you put in effort or just relax and be powered. Gavin our guide was so fun and knowledgeable, i learned some history and a few new routes I didn’t know existed in the park, and it was a gorgeous day with family and friends. I can’t recommend this enough for locals and tourists alike. Thanks, Gavin!

We had a glorious outdoor adventure with a knowledgeable, informative, friendly, safety-conscious guide on fully charged, all terrain, powerful, e-bikes. A great tour riding up & down & through Griffith Park, over a variety of LA River bridges & through a few amazing neighborhoods. An absolutely fun ride with incredible vistas and a great vibe.
    A perfect LA day.

I loved this e-bike tour. Small group with new, safe. e-bikes that allowed us all to go further with minimum effort. No hill too steep! Gavin’s knowledge of the Griffith Park and surrounding areas was fascinating. A side to my city I’d never seen before. A great activity for a group of friends or fold from out of town. It’s a go-to LA attraction in my opinion!
