Overview
Discover the history of Tinseltown on this walking tour of Hollywood. See less well-known movie palaces, attractions, and architectural landmarks that illuminate the good, the bad, and the ugly of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. Your guide takes you behind the scenes to unexpected sights, and provides clear commentary along the way via audio headsets. A choice of time means extra flexibility.
What to Expect
After you’ve chosen your starting time, start your Hollywood walking tour by meeting your guide outside the Egyptian Theatre.

Take a stroll past the district’s historical theaters, including Disney’s El Capitan Theatre and TCL Chinese Theatre, where you’ll see the famous celebrity footprints and handprints. You’ll also stop by Dolby Theatre, annual home of the Academy Awards.

See landmarks including the Hollywood & Highland center, Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Blossom Room, and a speakeasy bar that dates back to the Prohibition era of the 1920s. Snap photos of the iconic Hollywood sign in the distance, and hear celebrity stories and the history of each sight from your guide.

Your tour ends back at the starting point.

We did the Hollywood behind the scenes tour and thought it was pretty good. There were lots of stories you wouldn’t know by just reading the guide book or walking alone. The guide was enthusiastic and the pace was great. I’d recommend if you want...More

We had no problems staying in the area. It’s a tourist destination so homeless people are there but we never felt it was a problem.
