Overview

Get unrivaled views of Sedona’s famous red rock formations from above on this 35-minute helicopter tour. Soar over Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Snoopy Rock, and more without having to jostle with the crowds on land. Choose from a morning or afternoon departure and enjoy hassle-free round-trip transportation from your Sedona hotel.

What to Expect

Your tour begins with pickup at your Sedona hotel. Travel to the Sedona airport, meet your pilot, and board the state-of-the-art- helicopter. Lift off and travel towards Cathedral Rock. See if you can spot Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte in the distance.

Next, fly over Three Nuns rock formation near the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This church stands 250 feet (76 meters) out of a massive red rock but blends in with its surroundings, making it look like a natural formation.

Continue on past Snoopy Rock, named for its resemblance to the Peanuts character, before flying past Wilson Mountain where Steamboat Rock sits. See if you spot native wildlife such as elk, deer, and wild javelinas as you hover in this area.

Before heading back, fly by the Secret Canyon, Bear Mountain, Red Canyon, and Boynton Canyon. Get dropped off at your hotel when your ride concludes.

Fun Time

Friends were visiting from out of state and selected the helicopter tour as their preferred way to see Sedona. WOW - great way to view the beauty. A bit pricey, but fun.
