Overview
The Buenos Aires neighborhoods of San Telmo and La Boca are famous for their historic monuments, tango clubs, and lively street markets. On this tour, discover the scenic districts by bike and take the time to explore away from the tourist trail. Cycle around the beautiful Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve; visit Plaza de Mayo, Caminito Street, and La Bombonera stadium; and gain an insight into local life in the city.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in downtown Buenos Aires and set out to explore the city’s central neighborhoods. First, cycle through the modern waterfront district of Puerto Madero, where the glittering high-rise buildings offer a startling contrast to the colonial buildings of San Telmo and La Boca.

Glide around the lush parklands of the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, which runs along the Rio de la Plata, and pass through the grand Plaza de Mayo, home to the Casa Rosada. Continue to La Boca, stopping to take photos of the famous La Bombonera stadium and admire the brightly painted houses along Caminito Street. Finally, explore lively San Telmo, where the cobblestone lanes are lined with tango venues, street artists, and colorful murals.

Your tour ends back at the departure point.

Great way to see the city!

Had a super time touring the South of the city, at a comfy pace, feeling safe throughout. Our guide Marina was fun and informative, full of tidbits about the city, and happy to answer our questions about life in Buenos Aires with her local knowledge.

Bike friendly tour and fun way to explore the city

I had a blast during this tour and a lovely guide. Biking was definitely the best way in my opinion to discover the southern part of the city. I would definitely do it again!
