Buenos Aires is famous as the birthplace of the tango, and attending a live show is an unforgettable experience for visitors to the city. This tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, so you don’t have to worry about taking public transport at night. Sample traditional Argentine cuisine with a preshow dinner at the venue and then take your seats for a spectacular tango performance at the atmospheric Astor Piazzolla Theatre.
What to Expect
Your evening begins with pickup from your central Buenos Aires hotel and a short transfer to the venue: the Astor Piazzolla Theatre. Taking its name from renowned tango composer Astor Piazzolla, the theater is located in the magnificent setting of the Guemes Gallery on Florida Street, an architectural marvel that dates back to the 20th century.

Take your seats inside the opulent theater and begin your evening with a delicious 3-course dinner. Sample local specialties, such as empanadas, ravioli, and coconut pudding, paired with fine Argentine wines.

After dinner, prepare to be entertained by a dramatic tango show, featuring professional dancers, live musicians, and dazzling costumes that bring the history of the tango to life.

At the end of the evening, you will be dropped back at your hotel.

Highly recommended

Good food, good show .Do not use the transportation that they provide to get there ,as you will arrive too early.Skip the tango lesson. Be there around 20 30 go straight to dinner. At the end use the transportation to go back to hotel.

Great show, great theatre, and a good dining experience.

The Tango show was amazing! Great costumes, good singing and some breath-taking moves. The theatre is beautiful, and the Tango lesson before the dinner was lots of fun. Our hotel pick-up arrived on time and when the show finished, our driver was already waiting for...More

Forget the transportation and no communication!

I can't review the dinner and show since despite 2 attempts to go, we never got there because transportation never arrived. I should have known this would be a disaster and cancelled when I emailed, as requested, our hotel information and they never responded. As...More

Great show but give dinner a miss

Good show but give the dinner a miss. A smaller and more classic version of Tango is what you see on this show. The singer's sometimes left abruptly so was a bit confused. The dancers were very skilfully and glided across and wound and unwound...More

Tango show is good. Everything else... not so much

I would give this experience 3.5 stars overall. The Tango show itself is excellent but everything else - not so much. The email communication leading up to the show was very confusing. It asked us to be at the theater by 9:30 pm and drop...More

The show and dinner (which I think you should have as well) lasts for approximately 2 hours. Piazolla is a bit pricey but I can assure you that it is certainly worth it and it is in a very classy venue. ENJOY
