Went on this tour led by Patrick and assisted by Jane, and it was one of the highlights of our Shanghai trip! They were both friendly and professional and fun to be around. They were also clear about where we would be going and brought us from place to place smoothly. Managed to buy some tea from the second shop as a souvenir too. Would gladly recommend!

Hello from USA, this food tour was awesome!! Our guide was so patient with us and he was so knowledgeable. Really enjoyed everything from the walk through the park full of lively elderly people dancing or performing karaoke to the most amazing dumplings I have ever had in my life. I left with my belly full and my heart content. I wish everyone could have this experience and see the beauty of China and its people.

We had an amazing time walking and eating our way around Shanghai under Jim’s guidance. We did the breakfast tour and thoroughly enjoyed all our options. One of our tour group members was also vegan and he took great care of them, making sure to give them plenty of options as well. We learned a lot about Shanghai and even got to venture into a small historic museum that we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Shanghai!

A great insight and culinary experience into the foods that originate from Shanghai and surrounding areas. Jade was very informative on each of the dishes and of the cuisines across the different parts of China. A great learning experience while eating lots of yummy dishes.

All the food was delicious. We had noodles, moon cakes, and an array of dumplings, including seasonal crab dumplings. I would recommend this tour if you want to learn more about Shanghai cuisine. Helen was our tour guide and she was pure excellence. Her English was impeccable, and she was knowledgable, witty, and a lot of fun.
