Start with the city’s most spectacular landmark, the 16th-century hilltop palace complex of Amber Fort, located just outside of town. Wander with your guide through pink sandstone chambers and explore the dazzlingly bejeweled Sheesh Mahal, or Hall of Mirrors. Your driver brings you to the nearby floating palace of Jal Mahal, suspended over Man Sagar Lake, before a savory Indian lunch. We booked this tour using “GetYourGuide” and traveled by train to Jaipur instead of by car. This tour was certainly a highlight of our time in Delhi and we’re very glad we took the time to visit the “Pink City.” Our guide, Kapil, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative while taking us to all the top sites in Jaipur. We appreciated his flexibility as well, there was quite some traffic & large crowds due to the local festival, and Kapil was quick to adjust our itinerary to meet our needs. I especially enjoyed visiting the palace!

Nk sharma is such a delight as a tour guide. His stories and histories are intertwined as you go through the tour which makes the entire thing a delight. He has such a warm heart and you will really feel safe with him as he knows a lot of people as we went through with the tour. He gives you suggestions on the authentic places to buy souvenirs and crafts which are specialties of Jaipur. All the time, his laughter is contagious and he does not make you feel that he is entering into your space. He is there really to guide you and make your Jaipur experience a crazy good one! He is on time. He does not rush up and allows you to enjoy moments of every place so that you will have happy and substantial memories when you go back home. He explains all the fees and alternatives but he also gives good suggestions on what to do! He is indeed a gem in Jaipur, more that all the treasures of the palaces we visited. He should be awarded the best guide of jaipur!

The last part of our Golden Triangle Trip was a tour of the best tourist sites in Jaipur. Our tour guide was Kapil and he was outstanding!! He listened to what we wanted to see and what time we had available and adjusted the tour to satisfy our desires. As a result we got to see far more in Jaipur than we thought was possible. His understanding of Jaipur history is amazing and his descriptions were easy to understand as well as entertaining. In addition, he is a fantastic photographer and took many great pictures of us and for us along the tour. I highly recommend him as a tour guide when visiting Jaipur.

We were accompanied by tour guide Sanjeev from Pioneer Holidays. Sanjeev was an absolute gentleman, very knowledgeable about the rich history of this beautiful city and its heritage.
Our tour started with a pickup from our hotel. Sanjeev was punctual and on time, waiting in the lobby at the assigned time. We were transported by driver Prakash in a new, and clean Hyundai sedan. Prakash was a very good driver, and ensured absolute comfort for us in the hustle and bustle of Jaipur traffic.
Throughout the tour we visited the Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace etc. Sanjeev guided us through the history of each venue and gave us plenty of time to explore by our selves. Sanjeev also took spectacular photos of us. The major plus side of Pioneer Holidays is they have pre booked the tickets, so no waiting in long queues in the hot weather! During the tour we stopped at a restaurant recommended by Sanjeev. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance of the venue gave a taste of traditional Jaipur. The singers on the tabla were a wonderful touch that made our lunch special.
Overall I’d recommend Pioneer Holidays without hesitation. Sanjeev and Prakash are both great people, loved conversing with them throughout the journey.

Sanjeev was our tour guide in Jaipur. He was prompt, knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. We saw everything the City has to offer. We also toured the City of Amber and had the opportunity to ride an elephant! That is something that you don’t do everyday; such a magnificent experience. He took us to a shop to buy one of a kind jewels, at good prices. We even saw how handmade prints on clothes are made…a must see. Sanjeev was accommodating and willing to make our experience the best ever…which it was. Thank you. Namaste.

Great tour of Jaipur by out tour guide Sanjeev. He was very informative about the history of the historical buildings visited such as the city palace and Amber fort. We learnt about the art and culture of Jaipur. Recommend visiting Jaipur and booking the tour company as well. Money and time well invested.

Pinto ji was on time to the hotel, the car had blasting AC during the duration of the tour. Sanjeev (our tour guide) met us at the first stop. He is extending knowledgeable of every single place we visited. If you have questions regarding the history of each location, he will definitely answer all of your questions! If you want to stop at a location to eat or drink, other than the water bottles they buy, they are more than happy to do so! The overall experience was phenomenal! My dad and I could have not been able to see everything By ourselves or would have learned about each historical location in Jaipur! Highly recommend you get these two great people for guidance or else, you will miss out an outstanding opportunity to learn about Jaipur!!

This tour was very educational. Sanjeev was extremely pleasant and polite and was able to answer any questions. We began in the pink city and met Sanjeev atThe wind palace, took a few pictures and headed over to the amber fort.
The fort was magnificently constructed and the views were amazing. After we visited the water palace followed by the royal palace and were able to see live dance classes given to locals by the royal family for free. There were other places we could have visited but opted not to in order to have more time before our flight. Be sure to book this tour if you're headed to Jaipur.

It can be same day, Delhi-Jaipur-Delhi. Ideally it would be at least 2 days, but we did it in 1 day and were able to catch the main sites without any issues, long day for sure :) but worth it, if you’re short on time.

PLEASE don't include elephant rides in your agenda! Elephants used for people to ride on them up to the fort are cruelly treated. The people who use them to profit have no legal documents to keep them, no health or veterinarian records, they are blind and suffer from foot and back issues. Their ears are torn. They have taken baby elephants from their parents. This is all factual information! Please encourage your tourists to not engage in elephant riding. Elephants are not horses, they are not pack animals! Their feet and backs can't handle this. These animals are suffering. There are currently campaigns to increase awareness about these practices and how terrible they are.
