    What to Expect
Meet your friendly and professional guide at your Kuala Lumpur hotel and leave the city streets behind as you embark on this Batu Caves and Malaysian Crafts Tour. You’ll pass the famed ‘Ambassador Row’ as you depart the city and make your way to the picturesque countryside.

Pay a visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where you’ll see how local artisans fashion handmade pieces using age-old techniques. Learn about casting, filing, polishing and hammering techniques used to produce beautiful works as you tour the factory.

From there, make your way to a local batik factory, where expert artisans create stunning masterpieces using fabric, wax and colorful dyes. Learn how this age-old art is produced and watch locals at work using this traditional art form.

After learning about the arts and crafts of Malaysia, head to the limestone hills of Batu Caves. Climb the 272 steps that lead to one of the country’s most incredible religious structures. Visit the temple museum, housed inside the cave, and listen in as your guide shares information and insight about the deities that are represented in the temple murals.

Your tour ends with hotel drop off in Kuala Lumpur, after a day filled with Malaysian history, culture and traditions.

Where do I start. We booked for the morning pickup and waited outside our hotel from 8:30 to 9:45 when I eventually called them to find out what was happening. They then said the driver was there to collect us but we weren't waiting so they left. NO DRIVER OR GUIDE EVER ARRIVED!

Dear Bradley P, Thank you for your time and reviewing our product. We appreciate our clients' feedback as it is our guideline to improve our services' quality, we have highlighted your feedback to our product team and asked them to review the Batu Cave Tour itinerary, However please take note that majority of our clients is happy and satisfied with the tour, you may see some of their reviews on Tripadvisor as well. As for the pickup, we checked and confirm that the driver came to your hotel on time, but they could not locate you in the lobby area, as per hotel's report, they tried to contact you, but you were not in the room. From your review we learned that you waited outside the hotel. We also note that our operation team re-arranged the tour for the afternoon session as a gesture of goodwill. Once again we thank you for your review, we hope to welcoming you to Malaysia very soon.

Caves were a great experience and must see when visiting KL. There's 272 steps to get to the top. Make sure you wear something that covers your knees or you can also borrow a cover for 5 RM and then you get 2 RM back when you return it. Once you get to the top, there's a temple.

Pewter factory was interesting, kids and adults learned a lot there, although the guides at the factory were very rigid and not overly personable. Batik shop was nice and is good to appreciate how clever the artists are. Batu caves was amazing to see, glad we went there. Half

The caves are lovely and my kids enjoyed them. The tour guide however was a shambles. She didn't really know any facts as we drove out to the pewter factory and on to the caves. Every sentence was a guess at what was going on around. Pretty poor. Visiting the scarf factory
