We had an amazing 5-hour tour with Dominic in Osaka! Dominic gave us a fascinating history lesson at Osaka Castle and the downtown area, he also made navigating the city— which seemed quite overwhelming — but his guiding made it super easy and stress-free. Dominic also introduced us to some delicious local food, and his suggestions for the rest of our trip were spot on. Highly recommend Dominic for anyone wanting to explore Osaka!

This tour was absolutely fantastic! Adam was our guide, and he included a great historical overview of Osaka as we travelled around the city, saw some hidden gems, and tried different foods. Natalie was a great tour guide. Loved her friendly, vibrant, bubbly personality. She was well informed & knew her stuff! We tried a few dishes that I'd never order on my own, so that was a bonus. They need to include Okonamiyaki on the food list.

Taka met us at the Osaka port for a half day tour. We took the subway and went to the castle which is amazing and a must see. If you are on a half day tour and want to see the inside of the castle, you need to reserve tickets in advance so you don’t have to wait in line. The line was probably a 1.5 hour wait without reservations on the day we were there. We didnt make advanced reservations so skipped seeing the inside of the castle so we could see more of Osaka. Then Taka took us to the Minamii/Dotombori area and introduced us to some hidden gems. Then we went to the fish market and had puffer fish and octopus balls which both were amazing! Taka then accompanied us back to the port to meet our ship on time! Taka is very knowledgeable about Osaka, the history, and is a local. His English is excellent and was the best tour guide!

We booked this tour as first time visitors to Osaka. Tommy was our guide and very friendly and personable. We were able to learn a little history, quirky things about Osaka and why it’s so special, and have some food and drinks along the way. We also appreciated that Tommy could tailor the tour to what we hoped to see (and eat!) and had nice relationships with stores and restaurants :)

This is a great tour. Mark our tour guide was knowledgeable and so and great communicator. We had sooo much to eat and tried quite a few different dishes. This is a really fun tour and I highly recommend it.

We loved getting a little taste of what Osaka has to offer. The tour took place in a more local area which was great. Natalie was a great tour guide providing history and info on all the delicious food.

This is a great way to introduce yourself to some of the culture and food of Osaka. Our guide (Anna) was welcoming, great fun, full of energy and just really good at explaining what we were eating and why. The food was OK, but it was her personal insights into life in Osaka that really made the tour. The tour is not cheap and you will undoubtedly get better food elsewhere, but this tour is much more than that. This was our first night in Japan and we felt it was a great insight into some of the etiquette and traditions associated with Japanese dining.

This was a great tour, we were guided by Stephanie who was knowledgeable and really provided a deeper insight into culture, nightlife and great places to eat in Osaka. highly recommend this tour. Wear comfy shoes :)

We had a fabulous time on the Osaka Food Tour. We were lucky to have an amazing guide, Taka, and a cool and very international group. We got on so well most of us partied on together in Namba after the tour finished. We sampled delicious traditional Japanese food, the food and drink included in the tour was super generous. I’d highly recommend going on this, and cross your fingers you get the pleasure of having Taka take you round the restaurants.
