Overview

The unlabeled tower temples of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of My Son are as hard to interpret as they’re striking to see—one reason it pays to go with a guide. Another, of course, is to take the hassle (and the haggle!) out of transportation. History fans will love this intimate and informative tour of Vietnam’s ancient capital: It's limited to just eight people.

What to Expect

Your guide will collect you from your Hoi An hotel in a spacious, air-conditioned vehicle. Relax as you travel through the lush countryside to the picturesque and UNESCO-listed site.

As your guide leads you into the ancient enclave, learn about the kings of Champa and how they built these tower temples as their power rose between the fourth and 13th centuries. Discover how their Hindu religion shaped these restored monuments, admire the sandstone bas-reliefs, learn the stories and deities that underpin them, and be sure to capture shots of the sacred phallic lingam.

When the tour is complete, your guide will drop you back at your hotel.

The venue where you are staying should be able to book for you and add to your account. I think they prefer cash (Dong) Draw some out to take with you from hotel.
