Great private tour of Bengalaru 8am-2pm
Personal tour with Shreyas who had wonderful history and perspective. A little much history on the one side tour at Tippu palace, but overall definitely worth doing this tour. Note there is only room for 1 or 2 people at a time on this tour.

      A fun day exploring Bengaluru
A fun day exploring Bengaluru, some in a Tuk Tuk and some on foot, our guide was knowledgeable, supportive and as a solo female traveler I felt I was in safe hands. I learnt more about local culture, history and trade, lots of treats were provided along the way too. It was an early start but nice to beat the traffic and the heat a little. We did overrun by 1 1/4 hours so do be ready to be flexible.

What a pleasant day knowing Bangalore
I had a day off on a business trip and want to know Bengaluru and have insights into the local culture. I'm glad I chose Unventured Expedition for that. I had a very pleasant day with my tour guide Midhu. She was very knowledgeable and explained about culture, people, and history. We had good conversations during the entire tour. The places we went for food were very good, and everything was delicious. I definitely recommend the tour and the company to anyone who wants to know Bengaluru and have a unique experience.

      Great Day trip from Bengaluru
My coworker and I flew in for business but had a free day for Mysuru. Tour guide was excellent, very personable and we had a private car and driver. The palace is high light, amazing tour through splendors of the palace. Our guide took us on some side trips to see the silkworm market and sugar cane harvest. These were not on the plan but added diversions that were very rewarding. We finalized our time in the market and rewarded ourselves with a wonderful lunch. Great day. Highly recommend it.

This was an AMAZING experience. The food was great. Our guide, Pooja, was informative, personable, and a great photographer. The exercise was doable. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

      Bengaluru by Tuk Tuk
Best decision for me to choose Unventured Expedition for this tour. My tour guide Sandra speaks very good English and she is a knowledgeable guide. Every places we visited were very well explained about their history, culture, its people. I felt safe walking around the city. For lunch we had dosa which was made on the spot hot and fresh and the masala tea was awesome! I enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommend this tour.

Tuk Tuk Tour of Colorful Places
Loved this Tour. Great to travel by Tuk Tuk, wanted to see how they worked. My guide was Sandra. She was a great communicator and storyteller. Took me to so many places....exceeded my expectations for seeing things. All along, she talked well with people and got us included in seeing some very special things. Highly recommended.

      Must do!
This tour was such a great experience! I was lucky to have Midhu as my guide. My first time to India and didn’t know what to expect. She was so insightful and accomodating it really opened doors to the sites, sounds, smells of the culture. I got to experiece the city with “only in the know” that I never would have had the chance. From the temples, to silk weaving, to history, to incredily delicious dosas…this is a must do tour. Dont think just book it, and ask for Midhu!

      Great tour, great people!
I booked a tuktuk tour for six people very last minute with Unventured. They responded immediately via WhatsApp and were very clear in communication. Even on the day itself with so many people wanting different things Midhu was able to guide the day according to everybody’s wishes. Would definitely recommend the tour with them!

      Best day in Bengaluru
This was by far our best day in Bengaluru. Arranging the trip with Ajith was quick and easy. Our tour guide Midhu was nothing short of amazing. She’s very personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the history of the palace and learning about Hinduism at the temple. The market was a complete sensory experience and having Midhu as our guide definitely elevated the experience. She explained what everything was, knew her way around and knew the vendors at the market, and took us to unique spots. Our walk around Old Bengalore was another sensory experience. All amazing - great lunch, saw silk weaving and dying, and so much more. Midhu is very thoughtful and sweet. She stayed with us until our Uber picked us up after the tour to ensure we were not stranded. We had talked about our mom’s enjoying the same type of indian music and she even sent me a playlist on Spotify the next day. You will definitely enjoy your day with Midhu and the whole tour experience. I highly recommend.

Flexible & Supportive Customer Service & Lovely Tour to Enjoy the Real Bengaluru
I had an extremely long (19.5 hours) layover, so I booked this tour in advance in order to enjoy a break from the airport. With bad luck, my inbound flight was very delayed by several hours and I would have missed the start of the tour. Ajith from Unventured was very flexible and helpful in aiding me to organise getting to my hotel and then to downtown Bangalore via taxi (Bengaluru is the preferred name by locals, Bangalore is the British name). They even rearranged my tour timing so I could still enjoy it, so I’m very grateful. When I finally made it (Bengaluru traffic is an experience in itself), I met up with my lovely tour guide Sandra and our Tuk Tuk driver for the day. I really enjoyed the tour, as it didn’t feel like a “tour”. By that I mean I felt more like a family member visiting with a local for the day, rather than a tourist hoping on and off the bus, if that makes sense. Sandra was really informative, and the Tuk Tuk is a lot of fun. Being jet lagged and tired, I appreciated the hop on and hop off options from the Tuk Tuk as I could walk around a site, learn the history, stretch my legs a bit then get back into the Tuk Tuk for a short distance for a seated break and new perspective. I particularly enjoyed the silk weaving machines, and even bought a sari made on site (you have to request this option, the store is not normally open to the public). How they make the beautiful patterns is so fascinating. As someone who has to eat a gluten free diet, I particularly appreciated the masala dosa brunch/lunch. Try the hot tea - warning it is super hot!!! I had fun in the markets, but be warned they can get super crowded. If you are someone who struggles with crowds and heat, make sure to talk to your guide in advance. For me it was so worth it, especially the gorgeous intricate flowers and strands at the flower market. I particularly appreciate Sandra’s extra effort at the end of the day to help me to get back to my hotel and my later flight. Catching a taxi during the rush is complicated. I definitely recommend doing this tour if you really want to experience Bengaluru. Tip: even if you come from a country with a lot of traffic - plan for 5 times the amount of traffic you are used to. Travel for even short distances takes a while, and taxis are likely to cancel even if you have a booking. Tip 2: wear shoes that can handle a bit of water, like puddles in the streets, especially the markets. Pretty high heeled sandals or flip flops won’t be much fun, even though everything is reasonably clean - you can’t plan for weather or broken water pipes.

Great way to get out of Bengaluru for a day
A really enjoyable day. My guide Midhu was fun, energetic and knowledgeable (thank you for the 101 on Hinduism). The ride is easy if you are in Ok shape. Interesting places and nature to see along the way. Good food served in a resort.

The tour was excellent. And the tour guide Pallavi was just exceptional. She took me around to some must visit places as well as some little unknown but interesting streets and corners which you would never find on any tourist book. I especially enjoyed the old traditional silk and saree making places. The colours, the ancient way of working, the beauty of the finial product was just mesmerizing.
I highly recommend this tour, I liked it so much that I would like to do it again.
P.S. and if someone has any doubts about the safety of Tuk Tuk, please don't be worried or scared at all. It's a great way to immerse in the surroundings and flow of the city. I felt safe at all times.

We had an amazing time on the Tuk Tuk tour with Midhu and Shreyas. They were both very knowledgeable and had a lot of fun and interesting stories to tell. We learned a lot about Bengaluru and its history. At all times we felt safe and very well taken care of. Our highlights were the KR Market and the Silk Weaving factories, where we were able to see a part of Indian daily life up close. Especially in the market, the smells, sights and bustling of many people were overwhelming to see. We had the chance to try new foods: fresh coconut, sapota, a real dosa and more. It was truly a perfect experience to start our travels in Bengaluru and we can only recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded and fun experience.

I was by myself, but small groups can go. Sandra was a wonderful guide. Well-prepared, knowledgable, easy to understand in English, enthusiastic. We hit the big tourist venues in Bangaluru: Tipu Tip's Palace, a temple next door where we made an offering and got blessed, the fort, the Pete market, and silk dyers and weavers. We finished with a workingman's lunch in a restaurant on a tiny dead end street. The market is unforgettable, especially the flower section. There are sections for loose flowers, for chain flowers, and for special garlands. It is both a wholesale and a retail market, so you see bags of flowers being auctioned off and carried away as well as people (mostly young men) creating garlands with individual flowers and even with rose petals. We saw a young couple doing a prenuptial photo shoot in the flower market. The tour involves a fair amount of walking (maybe 2 miles) on uneven streets that are choked with traffic, but nothing alarming. The silk dying and weaving workshops were also unforgettable: bright colors, clanking looms from the 19th century, people up to their elbows in dye. Wear comfortable shoes that can stand a bit of mud, slime, and moisture. You are mostly in the shade.

A wonderful half day spent exploring Bengaluru through the eyes of a local. It was a great experience to see and visit aspects of the city that tourists would not normally tour on their own, such as the fruit, vegetable, and flower markets, and the local jewelry making and silk weaving businesses. Was able to try a local fruit I've never had or heard of (sopata) and enjoy a delicious meal at a local eatery that I never would have found or gone to on my own!

We had a great tour with our excellent guide, Shreyas! We learned a lot, had fun, and felt safe. Walking around the city was an adventure in itself, and it was so cool to get an inside look at the market (especially the flower market!), a temple, and a silk weaving shop. Plus the dosas we had on this tour were our favorite out of our entire trip! I highly recommend this tour.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our time with Pallavi and learned a lot about the history of Bangalore. The markets were colorful and chaotic and we would have been overwhelmed without our guide. She was very knowledgeable, fun and helped us negotiate some good bargains with vendors! This will be one of our favorite memories of Bangalore!
