Beautiful nature and extraordinary frescoes with generous guide
Thanks to our guide Novisa who was generous with his time and knowledge on the sites and Serbian culture, I had a very enjoyable trip discovering this beautiful mountainous region of Serbia. The sights were lovely with abundant flowers in summer, and the mural paintings of Manasija Monastery were extraordinary. Then there was the culinary experience of local trout!

Interesting tours but be careful about the 20th century tour
I joined several tours (Downtown, Zemun, Underground and 20th Century) and overall were quite interesting and entertaining and a perfect way to explore the city. The Underground tour was a paid tour, but included several places I would not have visited otherwise and therefore worth the price. However, I have a problem with the content of the 20th century tour. The happenings of those turbulent years in the Balkans were presented by Milan in the very Serbian propaganda point of view. Which means that important facts were omitted or never confirmed rumours were presented as facts. This tour would definitely need a disclaimer that it represents a version of the 20th century that twists and turns the events in such a way that the Serbians are depicted as the ultimative victims of all aggressions. I would never presume to pass judgment on the culpability of these disputes, however I expect an objective representation of the events. Or, at least a very clear statement at the beginning that the following narratives are based on propaganda and must not be taken as facts.

Mihailo is the best tour guide!
Mihailo took us on his tour to Zemun and it was fantastic. I’ve done walking tours all over the world and I have to say, this was one of the best I’ve done, simply because of his knowledge and energy. I’m sorry I didn’t have m time do other tours with him. Thanks again! Mike, Liverpool, UK

One of the best tours in Europe
This was one of the best tours I’ve been on around the world, hands down! Our guide Stefan (a history graduate) was so knowledgeable and wove facts into a beautiful, multi-faceted narrative that helped us to really explore the many angles of Serbian and Belgrade religious history. We visited many beautiful sites, enjoyed spending time together, and as a bonus it was a private tour as no one else had signed up for the same tour that day! Incredible value for just €25pp. About 3.5 hours of walking and chatting and learning. I will absolutely book other tours again with this company.

Space Architecture, out of this world
If you have an interest in brutalist architecture and/or seeing more of Belgrade and/or learning more about the recent history of Serbia and Yugoslavia.. this is the tour for you. Our guide Stefan was excellent, so knowledgeable and explained everything in a clear and friendly manner. He could not have been more helpful, it soon felt like a friend was showing us around. Everything ran smoothly and Stefan even shared some online resources after the tour ended so we could maximise our Belgrade experience.

    Jewel-like beautiful churches in Belgrade
Milan's guide took us to five churches in Belgrade. Each church has its own architectural style, interior decoration, history of reconstruction and biography of the saint to whom it was dedicated. Looking at the churches while listening to Milan's explanations, we could see the various reasons behind the architecture and why it was shaped the way it is today. He explained not only the architecture of the Orthodox church, but also various aspects of Belgrade, such as life during the communist era and café culture. There is so much information on the internet about walking tours in Belgrade that it is hard to know which one to choose, but Milan's tour was really excellent.

    Jewish tour with Mihailo
We did a private Jewish Belgrade with Mihailo. We saw a terrific Holocaust memorial statue on the Danube, the exterior of the only surviving synagogue, the inside of a small museum of Balkan Jewish history, and some other important places in what was once a thriving Jewish community. This was a worthwhile few hours of time. Mihailo did his utmost, but there’s not much to work with (compared to Prague, for example).

    Extraordinary Experience!
I was on the free downtown tour on a Monday afternoon, we were four at the beginning and two at the end, so very personal. Milan is a lonely top - a gifted storyteller with a lot of esprit and in-depth knowledge: three hours of top-class education and fantastic entertainment: top recommendation!

Free Downtown Walking Tour with Nemanja
We did the free downtown walking tour with Nemanja on a Saturday morning. Out of all walking tours we did during our trip through the Balkans, this tour was definitely the best. Nemanja is a historian and hence extremely knowledgable and passionate about the history of Belgrade. He pointed out many details in the urban landscape that we would have otherwise overlooked and told us lots of interesting facts and anecdotes. It was really nice that you could tell how much he enjoyed giving the tour and sharing his knowledge. Can definitely recommend!

    Excellent tour with Novi
Many thanks to Novi for having us on your Danube - Iron Gate Tour today. Novi speaks many languages fluently and is really witty, was so knowledgeable about the area and the history and culture, not only did we learn a lot today but we had a blast doing it. Felt very safe with his driving in the fully climate controlled vehicle, had plenty of time to see and take in the views and take photos, and never felt rushed once. Excellent food and drink recommendations too. Would recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Serbia.

    Simply the best
10/5 Downtown Tour with Milan. We have been travelling for 5 weeks through Europe, 8 countries, 12 cities, about 20 walking tours and this has been by far the best. Milan was really nice and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Belgrade and its long history, Milan knew everything there is to know about Belgrade and taught us about it in an amazing way. He also gave a lot of space to make and answer all the questions there were. We saw all the main things to see in Downtown Belgrade and much more, but the best of all is how we learnt so much about them and also received amazing tips on taverns, traditional food and other to do things. Thanks Milan for this great tour and wish you the best! Cheers from Chile

I recommend on the heritage tour. The guide had a lot of information to share with us and we saw many historical places around the city center.
