As is custom, I try to always go on a walking tour the first day to get used to the city and learn the background. Due to COVID, I was the only one to sign up but they still accommodated me. Jelena did a GREAT job sharing with me the wonderful city of Belgrade. She also shared her experiences being from Kosovo and what it has been like living with the situations that have happened. I appreciate her honesty in her discussions. I learned so much and saw a lot in this tour. I highly recommend this tour and with any luck you will have this beautiful young lady as your guide! On a side note, she went above and beyond to help me with my COVID test results as I was trying to get on the plane.

My son and I had an excellent tour with Nebo. He was full of interesting facts and extremely knowledgeable as we were interested in hearing about Belgrade past and present. It was such an enjoyable way of touring the city and we felt we had really seen and learnt a lot. We enjoyed Belgrade so much more this way.

Zlatan was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about Serbian history and culture. He was open to answering questions and a kind, genuine person. I highly recommend this tour as one of the first things you do to learn about the city. Thanks for an awesome experience!

On 3rd of January, we visites Belgrade in our Balkan trip. As a group of 8 Slovenian tourists, we were really satisfied with Anja's knowledge of Belgrade Old City. Despite the temperatures below zero, fog and cold winds from the Sava river, Anja prepared a fun experience! We danced some Kolo at the very beggining of the tour and drank some Rakija lately. She managed to cope with winter weather with a short stop in local Cafe on Kalamegdan. She was willing to answer questions and gave really useful advices for local restaurants and drinks. We tried some of the craft beers she recommended later in the day and we can confirm they are really a good choice!

Having arrived in Belgrade the evening before, I started searching the internet for a free city walking tour. I have found such tours to be both invaluable for their information and for the geographic orientation they provide, and my Belgrade Free Walking Tour with Jelena proved to fulfill these goals and more.
It was a cold and potentially drizzling day (fortunately, the rain held off) and only a half dozen people showed up for the tour. It was a Monday, so museums were closed, and it was also Saint George's Day, so lots of other places were also closed. Despite all these obstacles, Jelena rose wonderfully to the challenge, providing a tour that not only enlightened but entertained as well. Her personal anecdotes and sense of humor made the grey day brighter.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and heartily recommend Belgrade Free Walking Tour to all who visit the city.

We arrived in Belgrade to very wet weather, so unfortunately we were here a couple of days before we had a chance to do any real sightseeing. When the weather cleared, we took the opportunity to attend the free walking tour at 10am on a Sunday. We met Ivan in Republic Square and found that our group of four (2 adults + 2 older teens) were the only attendees that day. How lucky for us to have such an excellent guide all to ourselves! Ivan was very patient with our many questions. Our group of Australians had one Serbian/English speaker and the rest of us were English speaking only. Ivan’s command of English was excellent and he was open to any questions. We enjoyed the 2hr+ walk and saw many areas we would never have found by ourselves. If only we’d had the chance to do this tour on our first day, we would have loved to then continue with the other paid tours on subsequent days - alas, we were headed to Greece the next day and couldn’t do any more sightseeing. Highly recommended (and please tip generously, as these volunteers are unpaid). Thank you, Ivan! We look forward to using your tour group if we have the chance to return in the future.

Very good tour with our highly informed tour guide, we walked all over the city braving the snow and cold to learn all about the rich culture and history behind this beautiful city of contrasts. Željko had a wealth of information and we were able to see many different areas of Belgrade. Thanks for the rakija and great tour!
