Overview
Travel to Rila National Park easily on this full-day tour with a mountain guide and round-trip transfers from Sofia. Choose a long or a short route through the park’s seven lakes. Reward yourself after your day of hiking with a soak in the natural thermal pools at a spa nearby.
What to Expect

Depart early from your Sofia hotel and travel for 1.5 hours to the Pionerska Hut at the base of the Rila Mountains. With your guide, take a chair lift up to the Rila Lakes Hut in Rila Mountains National Park. Begin your hiking loop and pass by Ribnoto (The Fish) Lake, Trilistnika (The Trefoil) Lake and Bliznaka (The Twin) Lake.

From here, choose between two options. You can take the long route and pass Okoto (The Eye) Lake before heading to Lakes Peak and admiring views of all seven lakes. Or, you can take the short route and head o the top station of the chairlift along a scenic route with views of the seven lakes area.

At the end of the hike, return to the Rila Lakes Hut and take the chairlift back down to the Pionerska Hut. Transfer by minivan to Sapareva Banya Spa Resort and relax in the natural thermal pools.

At the end of the day, return to your Sofia hotel.

Everything was well organized!

The guide pick-up us from the hotel, transfer to the Rila Mountains, we walked and swam in the hot spring swimming pool, plants so beautiful and various, beautiful spots. Thank you for the tour! I will recommend to my friends.
