The Inca trail was the greatest communication system the world had known, greater even than the roads of the Roman Empire. There is a popular segment of this trail system at the southern end of the Central Valley, which leads to Ingapirca, the most important  and best preserved archeological Inca complex in Ecuador.  This two to three day hike is fascinations glimpse of Andean rural life, which has changed little in hundreds of years.

  • What to brink: Back pack, long underwear, warm clothing, 2 pairs of socks/day, rain jacket, water proof pants if possible, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, lip protector, gloves, camera and film (extra battery), binoculars (if you have one), water proof hiking boots, also we provided rubber boots, plastic bags to protect clothing
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
