Overview
This is the gripping tale of brave men and women who fought and were interned during the Japanese Occupation in World War II. This motorcoach tour takes you to the 'Changi Chapel and Museum' Temporary Exhibition, Johore Battery, Selarang Barracks, Changi Village, Changi Boardwalk, Kranji War Cemetery and more. Choose either weekend (Sat morning) or weekday (Wed afternoon) departure!
Highlights
  • This tour teaches the history of Japanese occupation of Singapore
  • Skip the malls to learn about this somber event in Singapore’s history
  • Listen to a guide inject life into Singapore’s history
  • Travel in an air-conditioned coach, convenient on hot, humid days
What to Expect
Make your way to the designated departure point in Singapore and meet your guide and air-conditioned coach to travel to the temporary exhibition of the Changi Museum and Chapel. Stop along the way to explore the Johore Battery and see its replica World War II gun. Drive past the Changi Prison Complex before stopping at the boardwalk to learn about Singapore's defense strategy during the war. Enjoy free time on the beach before visiting both the Changi Village Market and the Kranji War Memorial, a hospital burial ground during the war that became the final resting place of thousands of Allied servicemen. Your tour ends back at Singapore’s Kranji Stn. Please note: The Changi Museum and Chapel is currently under renovation until late 2020. This stop is now a visit to the temporary exhibition of the Changi Chapel and Museum, which is set up at around the same area as the original.
