      Making Dumplings
Great experience - so hands on and Feliz shares her knowledge and very patient teaching us how to make our long bao soup dumplings. So good to walk thru the vegetable market and get an explanation of various fruits and vegetables. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Better than a souvenir- a great thing to take away from Hong Kong!
Feliz gave us the tour of the market as you’d expect, and was great at explaining various things and answering our questions. We were the only two there for the evening yet she still took the time to show us everything and was patient and clear with the instructions. Her English is phenomenal, and it was a very personal experience that we will have good memories of, as we try to replicate this for years to come. Better than any souvenir. Money well spent, even if the idea of it seemed steep when we first considered whether we would do it. Glad we did.

10/10 recommend if you like xlb!
I really like the experience - we walked in the local market and saw how locals bought food there. And the xiao long bao making was simple and easy to follow, and ingredients easily sourced, making it easy to try back home. Feliz was very friendly and encouraging and we had fun during the workshop. We also got to eat our xiao long bao - it was delicious!

Great experience making xiao long bao!
This was such a wonderful experience. From an educational walk through the wet market to making the xiao long bao. Feliz was a great teacher and made the experience so much fun. The dumplings were delicious and I look forward to sharing this new skill with my family. Highly recommend booking !

      Dumpling Heaven
I loved cooking with Feliz, we had a nice little group. Started with a walk seeing some markets where we collected the meat. Than we went to the cafe where she teaches the cooking. I had a double class did the first session the dumplings with the four of us but the Xiao Long Bao was my favourite. Another level, labour intense and I must say one must really enjoy cooking from scratch to do that and appreciate making it. I loved it, Feliz is a great teacher who emphasises on the technique and esthetics which I loved cause you want them to look nice too. I can only go and have a class with her the dumpling is more accessible anyone can do that. For the Xiao Long Bao you must have a deep appreciation of artisan craft. But you won't regret it when you make them she is a great teacher and the taste is unreal. Best dumplings and Xiao Long Bao I ever had. Can't wait to go home and make them

Excellent! Worth the time and money
Excellent and value for money. I took both the xiao long bao and dumpling courses. Market walk was great. I've lived in HK for a few years but Feliz highlighted interesting points about the area and stalls that I had not noticed before. Also great to interact with the local stall/shop owners. Feliz provided clear instructions and patience as she took me through the xiao long bao and dumpling making process. My creations turned out great and delicious. Walked out with new skill and full belly. Thanks Feliz!

      Delicious experience
Really enjoyed learning about the various items at the market that are so unique and shopping like a local for the ingredients. Feliz is a wonderful teacher - we made everything from scratch. Fun way to learn about the culture and cuisine of this beautiful country!

      great course, woth the money
This cooking class was fun and we learned a lot. The market walk was instructive, but the best thing is that we now know how to make soup dumplings on our own. Feliz Yau is an excellent teacher, the atmosphere was very friendly. This was definitely one of our highlights in our visit to Hong Kong.

Enjoyed Making Xiao Long Bao With Feliz!
Feliz was a wonderful host - teaching us a recipe she learned from her mother for Xiao Long Bao. After a walk through the Jordan wet market, our family of 5 spent the evening learning how to prepare and wrap Xiao Long Bao dumplings. I had tried to make these kinds of dumplings before and had found it to be too difficult, but with guidance from Feliz, I now feel confident to make these on my own. Her hands-on instruction for the wrapping technique in particular was quite helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to learn about Chinese food through this hands-on cooking experience.

This was an awful experience and definitely not worth the money! It wasn't informative and the main ingredients were bought pre made i.e. the fish filling and the dumpling skins are store bought. You might as well save your money and find an online recipe. It felt like a tourist trap. You need to prompt Feliz for an explanation of the food, and no proper recipe. If you want to spend this amount of money to assemble pre made, feel free to join this class.

Thank you for your feedback ! The Siu Mai class is closed. We dont have it anymore. Now We have Xiao Long Bao,Dumplings and PorkBun class. All of these classes I teach guests how to make the wrapper from scratch. For Dumplings class, we use both handmade wrappers and store bought wrappers together for easy practising. We dont have fish filling, normally we buy organic pork and season it by ourselves. We bought fish filling due to your specific request. Every guest have a recipe after the class by sending them my website link with a password. I am sorry that you left the class early and missed it.

I had the most amazing time this afternoon. I met Felicity at the MTR and she took me around the market, explaining different types of vegetables and what they can be used for along with many other ingredients. I wouldn’t be the most experienced, but I found the way felicity taught and showed me what I was doing was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a real hands on experience. She is such a lovely, friendly lady and I would recommend anyone who has a free few hours to spend it with her in her kitchen and take away something for the rest of your life .. thank you so much again xxx

Absolutely fantastic cooking class here in Hong Kong. We found this to be a highlight of our time here - Felicity is very knowledgeable and shared her family dumpling recipe which tastes amazing and is so enjoyable to make. We tend to do a cooking class in most countries we visit and I would highly recommend this one whilst you’re in Hong Kong!

We made dumplings with Felicity, and thoroughly enjoyed the class. She was very accommodating, and the whole process was very efficient and well run. We did the class with our small kids, and she managed to keep them entertained the whole time. The dumplings were fresh and the technique she taught us was simple enough that we could remake them at home. Highly recommend the class!

We met outside the MTR station and took a tour of a wet market and picked up ingredients for dumplings. Feliz was warm and welcoming. She explained clearly and it was fun to share in the experience.

I enjoyed her class and I recommend to others. She has a xiao long bao class too that I want to take.

Great value for the authentic and seamless experience you get!

Me and my wife are basic cooks but wanted to experience the culture and famous dim sum dish while in HK and it didn’t disappoint. It was very easy to follow and you could have fun with the process too!

You shop for the ingredients with Felicity and then head to a nearby cafe to cook up the delights. We both really liked it was all from scratch but we’re also shown how to work with shop bought dumplings too - which is likely what we might use at home when we want a quick dish in the evening after work. We cooked up enough to leave feeling full and got some great recipes of other Chinese dishes to try too!

Both really glad we chose to do this and met Felicity!

While in Hong Kong, we wanted to learn how to make dumplings and Felicity’s class was a great choice. Felicity met us as planned by the exit to the MTR and showed us around the market stalls and the wet market. The cooking activity took place in the cafe which was in the same area. Felicity demonstrated each step of recipe for us to copy and our dumplings turned out brilliantly.
This is a great activity even if you aren’t a much of a cook! Highly recommend.
    Thanks Felicity.

This dumpling making class was a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning!
We learned all the key techniques from making the wrapper dough and preparing the fillings, to different folds and how to achieve a delicious crust on our pan-fried dumplings. The results were mouth-watering!

Feliz was a lovely instructor and was very detailed in her approach. She was easy to communicate with when I booked the class, and accommodating throughout the session. The initial market tour to source our organic pork was a nice touch, making the whole process feel really authentic.

We are definitely more confident in making dumplings by ourselves and I would be keen to try another of her classes to learn more tips and tricks. Thank you Feliz!

What a great and fun experience it was! Walking through the wet market, buying our organic pork and then going back to her kitchen to prepare and cook the dumplings. We did a double class so we made some vegan dumplings too. They turned out so pretty and delicious!! Highly recommended to go with your girlfriends:)
