It's about as bad an experience as one could have, basically a scam. Samuel Li, the tour operator, texted me asking me to meet earlier, but I couldn't, to which he replied he'd see me at the original start time of 7:30. I texted him when I arrived, but he never heard back. I waited a half hour, and he never responded. I put a refund request into TA/Viator, shared the texts below. I also asked for the uber expenses as I had to take one to meet Sam. They denied both a the very least they should refund the tour, the operator was a no show after confirming he'd be there. He also ignored both my texts after I arrived at the designated meeting spot (see photos). DON"T BOOK THIS TOUR.

The Foodtour with Angel was an exceptional experience. On the one hand Angel introduced us to nice local places where you probably won’t go as a tourist. We had Dim Sum, Noodles, Pastries, tea and coffee. The choice was very nice and I recommend to go to the tour with an empty stomach and some appetite. On the other hand Angel as a tour guide is just amazing. An authentic local that shares not only insights about food but also about Hong Kong history, language fun facts and personal stories. I highly recommend this tour and would also do other tours with Angel. Thanks for the experience.

Unlike the tour description, we were not guided for 30 minutes through the Temple St night market - the guide dropped us off at the head of the block and said everything is for tourists and menus are in English. He did this even though I said I was very hungry and wanted help selecting dishes. We also did not get the grilled skewers, coconut water or Michelin rated desserts described in the online tour description. The “tastings” we got consisted of sharing a take out dish of gummy rice rolls, six little fish balls, some Shaomai fish dumplings - all from one corner take out stall/restaurant. They were pretty awful - just gummy, bland, drinking food. Our other two tastes were an also carbs, despite me saying I wanted meat or veggies - pineapple buns (one each!) and a waffle to share. Samuel was intelligent but did not speak clearly, and did not seem to want to talk about food. He did not provide a backstory on the vendors, or seem to have any friendly relationship with them. Compared to the many other food tours we have had in cities around the world, this one was awful - a waste of time and a rip-off.

My daughter And I thoroughly enjoyed our day with Angel, our guide. She was the perfect guide as she has a lot of personal and family connection to the city and its culture. The route she chose for us was varied and interesting. It was a very full day, but didn’t feel at all hurried. I would advise anybody visiting Hong Kong for the first time to take this tour early in your visit if you can. I really enjoyed wandering on my own through the city and revisiting many of the things that I had seen with Angel, with the new appreciation for their significance. Very highly recommended!

Really disappointing. I booked a few weeks ahead and they canceled 3 hours ahead. I was looking forward to the tour. I will be getting a refund but wish they'd had a back up plan.

We had a wonderful tour with Angel on our recent visit to Hong Kong. Not only did we sample some amazing local food but as a local herself Angel gave us great insight and personal stories. We learned a lot about local history, current events and food! I highly recommend doing this tour with Angel.

Cosmo is a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. He has travelled to many countries himself so knows how to provide a good tour and make his guests feel well looked after.

My girlfriend and I had a great tour with Cosmo, the sudden torrential downpour didn’t dampen any spirits. Cosmo had a lot of knowledge about Hong Kong and showed us to some great spots for food and the bustling night markets.

Average at best. Basically marking it to three food stands in Mongkok for 100$ per person, way overpriced. Would have loved to try more different things rather than “what do u want” with some more deeper insides. Temple street was not busted either. Looked like a quick exit in the end. Cannot recommend.

Stay away. I made an online reservation for a private tour. Two days before the tour the Company charged my credit card for the cost of the tour (48 hours before the tour is its policy to charge the fee). The very next day, 24 hours before the tour, it cancelled as it stated its only tour guide could not provide the tour due to personal reasons. The Company offered to provide the tour the following day but our itinerary was already set. I requested a refund and have yet to receive it, nor any communications that it would be refunded.

Awesome tour, the food was delicious and the tour was super interesting. It was noticeable that Angel knew all the best spots to get something yummy to eat. Angel was fun, and easy to be with. Highly recommended. Thanks Angel!

Guide never showed up. Whatsapped me meeting place, I waited an hour and tried calling him repeatedly. Still no explanation and refund requested.

Matteo showed me a fantastic views of HK of that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own In addition to imparting very valuable photography tips and tricks, he weaved that together with his very deep knowledge of little known pockets of the city and the fascinating stories behind each location The tour was a very enlightening experience and his passion for his craft and tales of HK is outstanding

We booked "A Taste of Hong Kong: Night Markets & Street Food Tour" with Wing Wing and were not disappointed. She is very kind, it was even possible to start the tour earlier. She showed and explained everything that was possible, we had an amazing time with her - and of course, we ate a lot. :) We were lucky to have her as our guide, especially as she also helped us with bargaining for some souvenirs. Thank you for the tour!

The guide was not well spoken, hard to understand. Also no dumplings and no drink. I bought him a beer, the HSBC building was shown as a highlight. It's was a very very sweaty experience with loads of streets walked. Too many, but the plus side I got to see the expats all drinking and having a nice dinner, after the tour I went back at 10pm and had dinner... plus side I lost weight
