- Lynne T00My wonderful tour with AmyAmy and I began our day out at the Ngong. Ping cable car which afforded us fabulous views over the islands and mountainous terrain with Amy pointing out places of interest including the new Macau Road tunnel. We then made our way leisurely through the Ngong Ping village, browsing in the shops and visiting the temples. Amy was very knowledgeable about these wonderful buildings and told me about the history of the figures and decorations. We then went to the big Buddha which sadly we couldn’t climb up to because the steps were being renovated. We then took a bus down the mountain,to the Tai`O fishing village. This is like a step back in time and is a delightful and picturesque place to visit with quaint, narrow streets full of stalls and little shops where everyone seemed to know Amy. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in a small café overlooking the river that I would never have found, but Amy knew the owner and we were royally treated. Amy is a very friendly tour guide who is informative and makes everything interesting for you. I can’t recommend her highly enough as you will enjoy a fabulous time with this lady!
- davewilson99900Superb, would highly recommend!!We did the veggie food tour last week and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Amy is a really knowledgeable guide and is very friendly and easy to get along with. She creates a relaxed environment and is very flexible to allow the tour to move at your own pace. She has lots of recommendations but again gives options so you can tailor the experience to your own needs. This is the second tour we have done with her and both have been excellent. Would highly recommend!!
- griffithskj100HK Greeters Dim Sum Tour with MaggieExcellent! Maggie was personable and knowledgeable and the other people on the tour were lovely. It was a great half day trip - amazing food and cultural information!
- NormandyBrit00Aberdeen tourJust had the Enchanting Aberdeen Tour with Amy. So well done, almost thought I was back there. Many thanks!
- Scintilla123400Tai O cultural tourTai O walking and boat tour - what an amazing trip! Amy was a wonderful guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and made our day out exploring Tai O seamless and fun. I would highly recommend.
- AACA12300Awesome day with Amy in Tai OA fabulous day in Tai O! Amy was an exceptional guide; knowledgeable, organised, friendly and easy-going. Highly recommend!
- saikungNT00Vegetarian & Food Cultural TourWe found our guides Amy and Zoe very friendly and smiley. Nice that Amy is a local expat so can resonate with fellow expats...great that she is mentoring Zoe, a native Hong Konger with a real connection to the Wong Tai Sin Temple who could give her own personal account of her own experiences, like her mothers wedding... needing a separate wok for vegan for vegan food. It made it seem very real. Both were very flexible & accommodating..me showing an interest in going inside the temple while my friends carried on to get ready for lunch was really appreciated. It meant a lot to me as I know it wasn’t specifically on their list of things to do with us... and of course Zoe knows all about it as it is her temple. The traditional Nan Lian Gardens surrounding the temple are magnificent and well worth the stroll as is the Kowloon Walled City Park. It won’t disappoint. Here you’ll find preserved artefacts in the once infamous enclave controlled by the Triads. We throughly enjoyed our day with Amy and Zoe. We are looking forward to another adventure with them .
- FrancescaNg-Brett00Tai OIn a quest to explore more of our home we had no hesitation in signing up for our 2nd tour with Amy. This time we headed to Tai O. Once again Amy, being the great guide she is, made it a fabulous day out. We toured Tai O village on foot and by boat, got a taste of the local snacks, had lunch in a stilt cafe (main restaurant was closed due to covid) and ended the day with a swim in the waterfall/rock pool before heading home. I'd also highly recommend this tour.
- mansor5000Tai O - Excellent dayOur family of four - children aged 11 and 12 - went on the Tai O excursion, including swimming in a waterfall and rockpool. Our guide was Stephen, and he couldn't have been better informed or more organised .. to the extent of demonstrating to our children which route to take up the rocks to jump off into the pool. We've been in HK nearly six years and wouldn't have been able to organise this day ourselves - so great for long term HKers, or for visitors.
- Jerry G00She is a real Pro !Our party of 6 was greeted by Amy at the cruise port right on time in her van. She is a positive cheerfull person who has the perfect personality to be a tour guide. The day long tour was beyond our expectations and she had boundless energy, well after the contracted time for our excursion. She guided us through all of the highlights and was our needed translator at the delicious dim sum lunch. Her knowledge of Hong Kong, the culture and history is amazing. I understand she has since moved back to the UK ..... if she is still in the tourist business when we visit the UK next year we will definitely use her.
- Go6151900Fabulous Hong Kong Highlight tour of Hong Kong with Amy OveryWe recently travelled to Hong Kong. Since this was a new experience for us...we decided to hire a private tour guide, Amy Overy, to take us around Hong Kong before we left for a cruise to Viet Nam, Thailand and Singapore. Amy was amazing! She was enthusiastic, energetic, knowledgeable..and a delight to be around. She made sure that we were able to see as many sights as possible in just 7 hours. She is a wealth of information regarding Hong Kong. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a private tour in Hong Kong.
- michaelzH2997UW00Hong Kong Cycling TourWe had a great day with Amy cycling. She picked us up from our hotel in Kowloon. We started the ride in Shatin rode along the bike paths to Tai Po , had lunch at Sam Mun Tsai. After lunch we rode up to the Tsz Shan Monastery for a tour. Amy was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests. Thanks Amy
- MsDIY00Awesome Touring Experience! We did 2 tours with HK Greeters....our group of 4 did a private car tour of Lantau Island with Amy (and our driver Ken) and the next day did a walking tour of HK Island with Jamie. Let me start by saying that the pre-trip information and communication was as important as the two days we spent with them, Amy provided invaluable information so we could make the most of our trip. Both Amy and Jamie were flexible, informative and fun. We adjusted our itinerary throughout the day based upon how the day was going. It couldn't have been any better. I would also like to note that Ken was a very safe driver....which was important to us. You will not regret using HK Greeters!
- purdueup00Private car and tour of Lantau IslandAfter spending the previous day with Amy exploring Kowloon we opted to spend our final day in Hong Kong on Lantau Island. One of the highlights of our trip, we saw many things we had never seen before, like pink dolphins, an amazing traditional fishing village, free range cows, the big buddha and beautiful monastery and Taoist temple. Amy was as enthusiastic as she was the day before and excited to share with us the sites of Lantau Island and her knowledge of the traditional fishing culture and other unique things to see on the island. It was a very busy day which is what we like, we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you to Amy and her team for a wonderful three day visit to Hong Kong!
- purdueup00Kowloon and Jewish Heritage Private Walking TourAmy met us in our hotel lobby that morning which we truly appreciated, it can be hard to find a guide at a meeting spot in an unfamiliar city. We were to go on to spend two days with Amy and it couldn't have been a better experience. Amy is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loves living in and experiencing all that Hong Kong has to offer. I don't think there was a question we had that she wasn't able to answer, both historically as well as being informative and enlightening on the current political/social situation. We were able to visit all of the sites on our wish list as well as a special treat in visiting the Ohel Leah synagogue in the mid-level area. We moved at a fast pace and experienced all forms of public transport which we greatly enjoyed. Definitely a fascinating day exploring with a first class tour guide.

Wow, booked Amy for our first day in Hong Kong and it was worth every penny. Amy met us at our hotel which was invaluable as we didn’t need to think how do we find our way around.
She helped us buy an Octopus card which are great value for money and can be used on most forms of transport.
We learnt so much about the history of Hong Kong as well as visiting the main tourist areas, without having to worry about getting lost.
As Amy is English we also swapped stories about families and life in Hong Kong.
If you’re thinking of a tour guide 100% contact Amy. If you’re worried about the media attention on the protests please don’t be worried . Nothing effected our stay, in fact it was an amazing time to visit as it was less busy.

We planned several tours with Amy in Hong Kong and unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus and changes in our cruise ship itinerary, we had to cancel our visit to Hong Kong.
Over the many months of planning, I sent numerous emails to Amy asking lots of questions and she always responded quickly and offered many suggestions. I always say that you can tell a lot about a company by their pre-sales work.
I was very sorry and sad to cancel as I was looking forward to our trip and to finally meet Amy.
I rate her one of the best.

My daughter Jennifer and I toured with Amy and it was an incredible and fun day. It was our first day and it was a wonderful introduction to the sights and mysteries of Hong Kong! She has lots of energy and a great sense of humor, which charmed my daughter. We had sent her places we wanted to include in advance, then she suggested others to add in which really enhanced the day. This was truly a customized tour. She was such a good sport too, she went with us to this weird Rabbit Cafe my daughter wanted to visit. I highly recommend booking a half or full day with Amy. Hong Kong can be overwhelming, so this is the best way to see this unique city.

We only had 15 hours to spend in Hong Kong on a stopover. We were so happy we booked Amy as our guide! We saw so much of Hong Kong and she kept it fun and interesting. She was a pleasure to hang out with for the day. Her English is perfect and she has a great personality. Loved that she sent us a list and marked all the places we visited on Google maps! Highlights include going on The Peak Tram and going for a breathtaking hike above the city. The view was amazing! Dim sum lunch with the locals was also so good! She was very knowledgeable and shared great stories. Would definitely recommend her!

Amy's tour was one of the highlights of our cruise. She made a day in Hong Kong into a great experience for 6 of us. It was a holiday and a difficult one due to some closings and changes, but she was versatile, picked the perfect times to see things, and was very responsive to the different needs of our group. We especially loved the dim sum restaurant she picked for lunch and she steered us to the BEST peking duck ever! Having her car made everything so much easier, plus pick up and delivery to the port. Highly recommended, and of course, no trouble at all with her English. You can't do better.

My husband and I traveled to Hong Kong in March. Our first tour was with Amy. She met us at the airport and then we took a blue taxi over to the cable-car station where we boarded the cable-car for a very serene ride above the mountains and busy airport. We walked the 268 steps up to the Big Buddha and looked at the memory palace and murals below the statue where we noticed a lot of parallels with Christianity! We then explored the Po Lin Monastery and the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas. After that we raveled to Tai O for the stilted fishing village and tried some of the local treats - giant fishballs and cuttlefish. There we took a short ride boat ride around the village and out into the estuary. We loved wandering through the markets and saw all of the dried products - fish maw, scallops, sea slugs, sharks fin, dried mandarins, black beans. We especially loved meeting Julia (a local resident) who served us some tea behind closed doors and chatted about her family life in Tai O. We HIGHLY recommend Amy and Peaks to Piers !!! It was scheduled as a 4 hour tour - but Amy made sure we saw everything on our list - even thought it sent her home to her family late.

We were actually referred to Amy by a top guide in Hong Kong that was already booked. That says quite a bit about Amy!!!! She was very easy and responsive in our pre-arrival emails and we had decided to book a 6 hour private tour starting in the afternoon and ending in the evening so we could experience HK day & evening. Amy met us at our hotel promptly and off we went. We started off in Kowloon at our hotel and spent the next 6 hours covering the entire city. The beauty of Amy is that she knows every short cut and masters the transportation system so you don’t have to give it thought. She also took us up to The Peak by taxi since the lines were long and walked us past the crowds to the best view. On the way back down, we also decided to walk a little distance to avoid the long wait times and catch a taxi there. These measures saved us big amounts of time. Amy is very knowledgeable about the history and statistics and was able to relay them in a very personable way. Made a pit stop for a local pineapple bun, tea and custard at a local place. We did hit some of the markets as well as taking the star ferry during the evening back to Kowloon. We had a fabulous time with Amy and wouldn’t hesitate to send friends family and clients to Amy. She is a hardworking first class lady business owner. Thanks for making our time in Hong Kong so special Amy!!!
