Jacky was an absolutely fabulous guide. He was very easy to understand, articulate, and highly experienced...knowledgeable in all aspects of life in Hong Kong. He completely personalized our tour to include multiple cultural and culinary highlights, and I cannot endorse him strongly enough. During a 19-day cruise when we booked multiple private tours, his was our very best.

Our family tour for 9 with two elderly members was carried out like a professional mission. As my in laws are elderly, we had to make use of a wheelchair. Jacky and team were able to navigate the crowded narrow streets of Macau, allowing all members of our family to experience the historic sites of Macau. His historic insight gave the sites the context needed for us to appreciate Macau. He was engaging to all the members and arranged a wonderful lunch for us to enjoy the local cuisine. We would highly recommend his team for any groups wanting a tour.

We are now back in Germany and I was a little ill and not online, so my feedback on Hans is only coming today. It was an exceptionally nice day in HK, we would like to thank him again. My guide, Hans, was very knowledgeable and effectively conveyed his infectious love for Hong Kong. He customized the tour very well for my interests. I am 81 and was traveling alone. We are a family of 6 ranging in age from 18-60. We could not have asked for a better guide than Jacky. Of course he was full of knowledge about the history and modern day life in Hong Kong, and we definitely tested him! But even more important for us, he connected to each one of us, welcoming our personal questions and opinions, and always seeming to provide a thoughtful and thorough response... I don't know many people who can do that equally well with an 18 year old and a 60 year old. His itinerary was a perfect balance of all we hoped to learn and understand about Hong Kong, including the history, government, economy, architecture, "natives," ex-pats, "neighbors," education, military, nightlife, culture and food. Jacky has a great, dry sense of humor, and a very likeable disposition. We all genuinely enjoyed spending time with him and all walked away feeling very knowledgeable about a world we previously knew nothing about.

Lovely way to celebrate New Year! Views of the fireworks were slightly obscured as we stopped behind a very large boat but was still beautiful! Food was okay and the open bar was very good!

I changed our time to an hour later the day before our pickup with no problem! Our driver came early the day of with my name clearly visible at the port . The vehicle was very clean.

We booked the Lantau Island and Big Buddha tour with Jacky from This is Asia Tours. From the beginning, Jacky was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions. The day before the tour, our guide, Liz contacted me to check in. She and the driver met us at the Hong Kong port and off we went on an amazing journey of Lantau Island, Big Buddha and Tai O fishing village. We absolutely loved Liz. She was extremely knowledgeable , a super conversationalist,and just full of personality. She was fun, caring and just made the tour so delightful. She made us feel like part of her family.
