Great Tour
The service of the tour was great, they came at the expected hour to the hotel, the tour guide really know about everything and you learn about it.

The vegetarian lunch wasn’t that good, you should give the option of having lunch on different tables, the table of the whole group was kind of small and you couldn’t have a nice lunch conversation with the people you went with. Besides that everything was great, highly recommend it.

Worth It
Jul 2019 • Solo
I was looking for something to do on last day of business trip and booked last minute. Ken was an excellent tour guide, cable car was really enjoyable worth upgrading to crystal (glass floor) - fab views of track below and out to sea - Macau bridge and tunnel. Fishing village is a tourist spot but some interesting sights and smells. Buddha is impressive - vegetarian lunch in monastery a bonus. Back to hotel by 5.00 and able to catch night flight

Must do this
This trip is well worth doing to save queues at the cable car, you get straight through, no waiting in very long queues. The guide is very helpful and informative.

Our tour visited on a holiday, so we didn’t get a boat ride, but visit to a temple instead, I actually preferred this.

More time at the Buddha would’ve been good as we only got 15 mins at the attraction, but did get over an hour at shops below after lunch which was good.

Truly amazing sight.

Excellent Tour to Lantau Island and Giant Buddha
Mar 2019 • Couples
We were collected on time from our hotel in Causeway Bay and taken to the ferry for our transport to Lantau Island. Our tour guide met us at the ferry wharf. A comentary was given on the bus once we arrived at Lantau Island and along the way and we were allowed free time to explore for ourselves at the Tao O fishing village and the Big Buddha. The cable car ride was amazing, we were then met at the bottom by a bus that dropped us back to our hotel. Highly recommend this tour, you cover a lot of ground and the whole day was most enjoyable.

V.I.P. Tour of The Big Buddha - Highly Recommend!
Mar 2019 • Couples
We were picked up around 9:45 am at our hotel. We then transferred to the bus we would take to the cable car. Our tour guide "T-Rex" was very informative about the Kowloon and Hong Kong area. The price of the tour was well worth being led to the front of the line for the cable car - looked as if you would wait hours if you were on your own. It was an amazing cable car ride - breathtaking views - I was not brave enough to try the "crystal car" that has a glass bottom - but many on our tour did. We went directly to the Monastery for a delicious vegetarian lunch. They brought bowls and bowls of food out (they don't bring out the food all at one time) - I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the vegetarian lunch but it was delicious and filling. We were told a meeting time when we would travel to the Big Buddha and were given some time to enjoy the Monastery and town on our own. I would have enjoyed a bit more time to explore. We traveled to the Buddha by bus. Many people seemed confused and thought they would need to climb the stairs but this tour includes a shuttle to the Big Buddha. Again, we were brought to the head of the line to tour the inside levels and were given time to explore on our own. We then traveled to the fishing village - this was a very quick walk through a village to a boat ride. This was an okay side trip but I would have preferred more time at the monastery. You take the cable car back to a bus to go back to your hotel. All the while - "T-Rex" provided fun facts about the area. They will also drop you at a different location then your original hotel. Arrived back at about 5:30pm. Highly recommend this tour - VIP treatment - well worth the price!

Very interesting
As we only had two nights As a stop over we wanted to see as much as we could.
The bus collected us at 9.20 and took us to another hotel to re group. First stop was a cable car. Ben did his best to keep us all together as it was very busy. Thank goodness he got fast track as the queues were unbelievable and so glad we didn't have to queue. The views on the way up weren't great but on the way back the sun was out and we got some great pics. Next stop was the Buddha and we had a vegetarian meal in the restaurant. It was tasty. Then on to the bus to go on a boat trip to see a fishing village.. now that was the best part of the trip. The only complaint we have was at the end I think they need more than one bus to take people back. It took us ages to get to our hotel. Other than that we had a great day.

Wonderful Tour
Nov 2018 • Couples
My husband and I took this tour in November 18. It was very enjoyable. The cable car ride offered beautiful views on all sides. We had the crystal cabin car and it was fun looking down on people below walking up the mountain to the big Buddha. The vegetarian lunch was good. The monastery is interesting. There is a village near the monastery with other food options and souveniers. The fishing village was picturesque and interesting and on the boat ride we did see pink dolphins because they feed them there. Ken, our tour guide, did a great job moving us through the whole day. The cable car ride down the mountain was an extra bonus.
