Our guide was excellent . Very knowledgeable and informative. Gave us a real insight to Kowloon and real Chinese culture. Utilized his knowledge of public transport system and knowledge of local markets used by every day residents of Hong Kong . Sampled food that locals relish

We had an amazing day with our guide Alfred who was very knowledgeable and attentive and made the trip very enjoyable. Lantau is definitely worth a trip if you are in Hong Kong. The Big Buddha is a wonder, and the trip to Shek-O was also very interesting. Alfred showed us some different temples and explained the different religions and beliefs in detail. He also took lots of photos for us. Lunch was very good too. Our only issue was the listing, which we found misleading. We booked when we were already in Hong Kong so assumed that the price shown was in HK dollars, however it was actually in US dollars which we only realised when the cost appeared on our bank statement. Since we were in Hong Kong when we booked, and are UK based it never occurred to us that the price would be in US dollars, and the listing didn't show this - it just showed the dollar sign, not which dollars we would be paying. This made the cost a lot more than we had anticipated. Having said that, we had a great day, and would definitely recommend Alfred as a guide.

This tour was OK and the noodles outstanding, but out of the 4 food tours we did in China/Hong Kong, this was our least favorite. Some of the food options were not our favorite and the cost verses the amount of food was not comparable to other tours we did. Getting to know a different side of Hong Kong was great.

Alex was a fantastic and brilliant tour guide. The food selections were wonderful! Be sure to show up hungry and be ready for a very tasty day.

Mel provided an excellent and thorough culinary tour. He was very knowledgeable and food choices were excellent. Our stay was brief and really appreciated Mel’s orientation to what can be an overwhelming city!

Four of us went with a guide named Mel and had a wonderful five hour walking tour. Mel was prompt and professional and took pride in his city. We enjoyed the culinary and cultural experience and were able to see far more of the city then we would on our own. Highly enjoyable.

We had such a fun experience with Ivy! No one else joined our group so it was just the three of us. Our host, Ivy, was super nice and personable. It felt more like friends hanging out than us as customers and her as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of many restaurants and foods. We loved every place we ate at! Such a great variety to really highlight Hong Kong food culture. Would definitely recommend!

We did this tour with Kiyo and he was great! It was a nice way to get a taste of Kowloon both the environment and the food! He was very informative, had a good pace to the tour and made it enjoyable. Would recommend!

Have just completed the food tour with our guide Mel, we have had an absolutely great time. Mel was a great host taking us in to eating house we would not have had the courage to enter. The food has been superb. Mel also gave us information on the history of the area and the products being sold. Our only regret was we didn’t do this earlier in our stay. Highly recommend this tour.

We had an excellent tour with Sinclair! He was very knowledgeable and shared many historical tidbits and stories around the food and culture in Hong Kong. The food was great, and we were able to see and experience parts of Hong Kong that would have been difficult as first time visitors. Highly recommended!

This is a can't miss tour if you have an opportunity in Hong Kong. While there is amazing food throughout this great city, this tour allows you to experience some delicious and varied food while exploring a section of the city that is somewhat less accessible to many visitors. The variety of foods to try is incredible! Mel was a terrific guide who was thoughtful, knowledgable and engaging. Plus you may see him in the movies from time to time. This is a terrific way to spend 4 hours in Hong Kong. We are already planning on bring our children for another tour with Mel!

Alex was extremely knowledgeable of the different areas of Hong Kong and we learnt so much in a short space of time. The food was amazing also.

Our guide for the morning was Ivy, she was amazing. Ivy took us to some interesting delicious food places. We also learnt the history and stories behind the restaurants. We looked at some dried food shops, graham street market and had interesting Hong Kong tea to drink. Fabulous experience, we would totally recommend Ivy and the tour

We enjoyed our full day tour through Hong Kong with Sinclair. He was knowledgeable, patient and accomodating of our small daughter through the day. We really enjoyed spending the time seeing the less visited parts of the city
