Day Tour: Giraffe Center, Elephant Orphanage and Nairobi National Park
US$134.00
Overview
There’s no need to leave the city on this Nairobi tour of top attractions. Let a driver handle Nairobi traffic as you relax on your way to the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and Nairobi National Park, where you go on a full-blown 3-hour safari. Plus, going with a guide means gleaning more insight into the city’s history and culture and asking plenty of questions throughout the day.
What to Expect
After getting picked up from your Nairobi hotel, head to the Giraffe Centre to see the nonprofit organization’s namesake creatures in real life. Learn why they are endangered and what the center does to help. End your visit here by feeding the giraffes with the supervision of a trained staff member.

Then, continue to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see orphaned baby elephants that were rescued and will be released. Your guide tells you how they are raised and reintroduced to the wilderness.

Take a lunch break (own expense), then go to Nairobi National Park for a 3-hour game drive in the middle of the city. Your guide shows you as many animals as possible, like rhinos and lions. A safari van with a pop-up roof makes for easier game viewing than other companies that travel in small cars.

Tour concludes with drop-off at your Nairobi hotel.

Very disappointed

We have the privilege of booking a full day with Perfect Wilderness -- including the Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Sanctuary, and Nairobi National Park. Leading up to our reservation, Beatrice and the PW team were incredibly responsive via email -- something that isn't always the case...More

We arranged our excursion well ahead of time; prior to arriving we added people and changed pick up locations - all were easily accommodated with no difficulties at all. Our driver, Sammy, picked us up at our hotel and was the best tour guide we...More

David was an awesome guide. We had never been to Kenya before, and were considering just going to all of the places ourselves with uber. I am so glad we didn't! We had a private guide in a private van all day. Our guide was...More

Hello, That is correct. The cost includes the fees. The park was last on my tour. Some tours include the Safari first so that the guests will see more game before the hunt.
