5 star rating for food, shelter, guides, and clothes and climbing gear from the company.

However, the office states that 70% reaches the top. In our case this was 25% (2/8). Personally I reached the top, but my girlfriend didn't. Please understand it is not an easy thing since you not only need to be fit, you need to be fit at this altitude and you need some pace to reach the top by sunset.

Conclusion, if you really know where you are getting yourself into, i would definitely recommend this company! Well organized and experienced!

If you are debating between the 2 and 3 day options, we definitely recommend the 3 day. After lunch at base camp on the first day, Juan prepped us to go do some mountaineering training, teaching us several different methods of walking with crampons before setting up a top rope so we could practice ice climbing.
After returning to camp, we had dinner, breakfast, and lunch before heading to high camp. Once there, after dinner, we turned in early because we had to get up at midnight for the ascent.
Although it was snowing sideways when we started, we had full confidence in Juan's ability to navigate. After a couple hours of climbing, the snow subsided as we got above the clouds and we began to see the nearly full moon, lights of La Paz, and views of the peaks. Shortly after this we got to the first vertical slope and began the altitude really made it's presence known. We tried to continue up to see the sunrise as high as possible, but the altitude made breathing too difficult (for 1 of our party🙄), slowing the pace and making the cold hard on the others.
So... At 5,780 msal, we turned around. This is still the highest we have ever been and we were amazed with the experience.

We do recommend diamox and time acclimating in La Paz or similar if you are planning the trip and new to mountaineering. Of the 4 people in our group, the one who didn't take diamox had the most severe altitude reactions.

I did two trips with this company. One day Peak Austria 5350mt and three day Husgna potosi just over 6000 mt. On both occasions the guides were very friendly and supportive. Good level of information and great company. I am 66 years old and they managed to get me up both climbs. Good company to go with very reliable, safe and with good quality equipment. One guide to every two people so if one person has to turn back they have spare guides to take them down and the other person can carry on.

It’s hard to write a comment to express the mix of emotions that I had. Literally best experience of my life. Couldn’t make it without the help of our guide Reynaldo that had the patience and good words to keep us going . I spent around 6 weeks at around 3400 - 3600m altitude in Cusco and la Paz ,but everything above 5000 is a game changer. I would recommend to take the 3 days and 2 nights .I’ve met people that unfortunately didn’t had the necessary time to do the 2 nights and tried to rush it and they didn’t make it to the top. Take 1-2 altitude pills just in case and always ask advice from your guide before taking them.

Did the 3-Day-Tour with Jiwaki as a recommendation and I was super satisfied the whole time. Not as easy as everybody told me, but maybe because of the weather
We did some training how to move in different areas, Ice climbing and get comfortable to the equipment (which was in great conditions and good quality!) on the first day.

Our 5 guides were great, friendly, always good for a chat and tip and also made us feel safe and helped us in every belonging to have a great experience. The accommodation, transport and food was great too.

Special thanks to Ovidio, you did a great job and pushed us to not give up, even I had to on the last 90m due my body said "stop right here and turn around". We had bad luck with the weather too, but this is Pachamama :)

We went to different tour agencies but the profesionalism and charm from the Jiwaki agency convinced us right away. They spoke pretty good english and where helpfull and funny.

The tour was simply amazing.
Our guide William did it all. From start to finish he made us feel safe, cooked delicious food, spoke good english, listened to our needs, took great pictures on moments we couldn’t... He knows what he is doing and could tell us a lot about the mountain and how to climb it.

If you are looking for a tour to Huayna Potosi, go to Jiwaki!

I did the 2 day trip, but definitely definitely do the 3 day. It may say it’s for beginners, but still incredibly fit and acclimatised beginners, and I think the extra day would help a lot. I miraculously made the top but the two others in my group didn’t make it. Was the hardest thing I’ve ever done so please don’t go into it lightly, bare in mind only 20-30% make the summit (I’ve heard) for good reason. However, it was also incredibly rewarding. Juan was my guide and he was excellent, encouraging and patient, though maybe could’ve been even more encouraging at times when I needed and let me know how we were doing a bit more often. Most importantly though I felt totally safe with him.The overall service by Jiwaki was also excellent.

Together with 4 friends, my boyfriend and I booked the 3-day trip to Huayna Potosi. Jiwaki is a very competent and professional organisation. The guides were brilliant, friendly, and very helpful. All the provided equipment was safe and reliable.

All of us made it to the top with the help of our great guides and we had an amazing experience. A special thanks to our great guide, Pedro.

We started the trek, our guide was Juan. An amazing person. Nice, helpful, responsible and excellent cook. He takes care of you from the first moment you start until the last second when you go back to La Paz. The experience is amazing not simple at all because of the height and the whole thing that everything happens fast. I think anyone who's not used to heights should do the 3-day option. In summary, amazing.
