    Amazing Experience
My recent private tour of Israel organized by Israel Tourism Consultants was truly exceptional. The impeccable planning by Mary Ramirez and our outstanding tour guide made the trip a wonderful experience. The travel agency's meticulous organization and customization of the itinerary were commendable. From the outset, their commitment to a seamless experience was evident. Our tour guide was the heart of the journey. His passion for Israel's history and culture was infectious. He effortlessly wove captivating stories and insights into each historical site, making every moment special. Our private tour, organized by the travel agency and guided by an exceptional tour guide, offered a transformative experience. If you're considering a journey through Israel, I highly recommend Israel Tourism Consultants and their guides. Our trip was an unforgettable adventure that we will never forget.

    Great Experience !
We had a fantastic trip with Israel Tour Consultants. We were a group of 6 people, we were booking from Australia which made it a bit challenging as we are not local to ITC but we managed to get it all done smoothly with Alex via emails and a couple of telephone calls. When trying to pick a tour company at first it was quite daunting, especially for us considering majority were based in the US, but after reading some reviews and speaking to ITC we decided to go with them as their Itinerary was also very complete and covered all the sites we wanted to see. We booked "In the Footsteps of Christ Tour" and also added the extension tour to "Petra, Jordan". We booked our own flights as we were coming from Oz, but everything else was left in ITC's hands. Transfers - all these ran smoothly and didn't fail, booking our own flights we were a little worried that they may not remember our transfer but upon arrival we were greeted by our driver who transported us to Tel Aviv Hotel. At the end of the tour we were dropped back to Jerusalem and again this worked smoothly and the driver was very accommodating. Hotels - We opted for the 4 Star and we were not disappointed, some were basic but they did the job just fine, the breakfast and dinners included made life much easier too. As the tour is all around Israel just keep in mind you will be moving hotels every couple of nights, so I recommend you pack light if possible. Guide/Driver - Our guide was Jerry, he was lovely and he made the experience very pleasant and genuinely cared about us all on the tour, he was knowledgeable and was able to explain history, cultural context, and biblical context at all the major sites we visited. He was caring and honest and overall a nice guy. Jerry was also happy to get questions and always open to discussions. Our driver Yurim was great and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time, and he was also lovely. We knew we would get off the bus and Yurim would take care of all our belongings. It helped a lot to be able to do this so you could move around freely and know you could leave things on the bus. Itinerary - we saw all the major sites we wanted to see as Christians, I felt there was also a good mix of time with Jerry, as when we would get to a particular site, he would explain/talk about it, and then we would be given some free time for photos and walking around ourselves, so it was a good balance. Jerry was also very good at time management and local knowledge on how to avoid the big tour groups, peak times and crowds, I felt the coordination allowed us to maximize the time we had at each site. Petra/Jordan - Transfer between Israel and Jordan is done in 2 parts, you are picked up from Israel Hotel by a driver and guide and driven to the boarder, there they help with the boarder cross, you just need your passports handy, you cross over and then meet on the other side with your Jordanian driver and guide, and get on their bus. We had Mike in Jordan as our guide, he was great too. Petra and Jerash were amazing, worth seeing and adding to your trip since you are already there and it's so close to Israel. Tips - pack light, expect to buy more souvenirs than you probably planned, take comfortable shoes and clothes, take cash and have smaller notes available, you can pay almost anywhere with card too. In summary Pretty much everywhere you go in Israel accepts, USD, Shekels, or Card. They also have ATMs but just remember they will give you shekels. Take Medications that cover pretty much all scenarios, some of us did get a little unwell with gastro, it was nothing major but it was good to have our own medications, as you won't have time to start looking for Pharmacies when you are there on such a tight Itinerary, or on a bus for hours. If you buy anything expensive (I think its about USD100) you can get a VAT tax refund when you leave at the airport, its about 17% refund you get back, just remember to get the receipt AND the Blue VAT Form when you purchase, as without the Blue form you wont be able to get the refund, we learnt that the hard way. I finally, I also highly highly recommend (if you can) to have an extra couple of days in Jerusalem after the tour ends, we were dropped back to Jerusalem after the tour as we had booked an extra 2 days on our own there, and it was the best decision we made, we were able to return to sites where we wanted to spend a bit more time at, and just to walk around and see Old Jerusalem. Once you are in Old Jerusalem everything is pretty much walking distance to get around to major sites around there, like Western Wall, Garden of Gethsemane, Mount of Olives etc. Overall we had a great experience and it was a trip we will never ever forget, we love Israel and hope to return one day.

I’m thinking of doing this trip again with another tour company. This trip was very disappointing from the get go!
It was bad from the time we left LAX, group leader only communicated and joined in with the Filipinos in the group! She never made an effort for anyone to introduce theirselves. She never would communicate with anyone! She would get flustered and run away! She was rude. Never asked if anyone was carsick, she insisted on front seat. Food was horrible! The official guides and drivers were excellent. Hotels were ok. NO down time! There was so much information it was overwhelming. She was a poor leader, I’m sure she went for free. She couldn’t nor wouldn’t answer ANY of our questions, she would just run away literally. I would never recommend this tour company to anyone I know!

    Do Not recommend
I would NOT recommend this company. We just got back from a 10 day tour Footsteps of Jesus Christ in Israel and it was the worst tour group we have been on and we travel all over the world a lot. Where do I begin: Tour guide had a negative attitude providing his own personal opinion regarding historical sites (not good and was often negative), his communication throughout the tour was terrible, he did not manage the group well at all and overall did NOT care about the experience of the group. There was lots of frustration voiced by several group members and he just blew them off. He also wore a dark blue hat and shirt so we could not see him in the large crowds and no flag and he didn't seem to care. Also from day 1, the tour bus was filthy. I could go on and on but this review is long enough and you get the idea. I traveled to Israel 6 years ago with another company and that experience was amazing, this trip with Israel Tourism Consultants was poor.

Terrible Communication, Abandoned, without Airport Transportation
My wife and I took a tour, the Footsteps of Christ, in April, 2023. A tour has three parts; getting there, being there, and getting back. All three parts require good communication from the company arranging the tour. This company got two parts right, but we almost missed our return flight due to terrible communication and apathy towards getting us home. The actual touring was wonderful, seeing lots of sights, and a great guide. BUT, we stayed several extra days, and we were promised transportation to get to Ben Gurion airport when we left. No one came to pick us up. We were abounded! I sent emails, text messages, and made several phone calls. I said their plans probably would not work, and suggested several options. None were accepted. We were ABANDONED. Finally, after waiting for a phone call, I got a text which said, "I told you to call our local representative." Their local representatives do not answer their phones or text messages. So, if all you want is to get there, and be there, seeing the sites, great. But if you also want to get home, choose someone else. I am attaching my emails and text messages for any doubters.

    Amazing trip
I just returned from a trip to Israel with 18 people from our church. I booked a private tour with Israel Tourism Consultants. The trip far exceeded my expectations! (We chose the 5 star hotel option). Our tour guide (Mimi Mileguir) in Israel was exceptional, the hotels and food were great, the bus and bus driver were wonderful, and the tours in Israel were incredible. I can’t say enough good things about the trip. It went flawlessly, and I would highly recommend using this company to anyone.

    Wonderful tour of Holy Land
After our planned trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel was cancelled because of COVID in 2020, this time I decided to go with a tour. After a lot of research into various tours that were offered, we chose Israeli Travel Consultants and their Where It All Began Tour because it included everything we wanted to see at a good price. We added their one day tour to Luxor at the very beginning, which was very good. We had 5 in our group until Israel, when we merged into a larger group totaling 29. Drivers and tour guides were very good, especially Fadi in Jordan and Madeleine in Israel. The explanations were vivid and interesting, the pace was perfect, and we got to see everything we wanted to see. For those concerned about the Sinai Peninsula, our mini-bus was included in a convoy with other buses, led by military/police, which provided protected passage through the space. Madeleine was very good about having appropriate scriptures read at places we visited, and the tour concluded with communion at the Garden Tomb. Free time was scheduled which allowed for personal exploration or shopping. Guides were also very careful to explain any physical demands (steep steps, for example) and to accommodate different abilities. Very satisfied. It was indeed the trip of a lifetime!

An Excellent Tour With An Excellent Guide
My husband and I booked a tour through Gil Travel. We are not experienced travelers, nor had we ever been to Israel. This trip was wonderful, more than I could have imagined, and much of the credit goes to our guide, Meni Tzabari. He is knowledgeable, patient, well organized, and a challenging teacher. We enjoyed getting to know him and the other eleven fellow travelers. I commend Meni Tzabari and thank him for all he offered us during this tour.

The most disappointing experience thank you to the tour guide.
The tour we went was In the footsteps of Christ. The reason we are giving 3 stars is because our tour guide Roni give us a bad experience not respectfully delivering what was this tour all about which was Jesus Christ. Instead we felt he was mocking and making fun of Christ life. For example, the itinerary of this tour included sites and churches however we hardly visited some of the chuches because we notice Roni was not interested and skip as many as he could. One of this churches was Magdala, he wasn’t planning to go but we end going because we left the group and we went to the church while he continue to lecture about the archeological history. He clearly wasn’t planning to go that beautiful church, he even said so to the group. He was arrogant and imposing his way in this tour. The other sad moments for us was to hear him joking after coming back from touching the Nativity rock ,he said things like “how it feel to touch that swearing and oily rock from every body else touching it…” We did not have a good experience in this tour with this particular tour guide. I wish nobody else goes through this. We recommend Israel Tourist Consultants to change the name of this Tour because is misleading and don’t use Christ name or make sure the tour guide has respect to Christ and us who are paying for this tour. We do like Israel Tourist Consultants and Alex assistance to get this tour, great communication and he worked with us to reschedule our tour after the pandemic. The itinerary is very good and we had a good driver, but again please make sure do not hire tour guide like Roni that do not believe in Christ if the main subject and reason of this Tour is Jesus Christ, and this is not all our experience but we will leave it there because we can write a book. Best way to tour Egypt, Jordan, and Israel
I just returned from Egypt, Jordan, and Israel on their "Where it all began" tour. It was amazing! My apprehension of booking such a significant vacation for our family of 5 (youngest was 15 yrs) was put at ease with the patience of Alex as he answered every question. Once booked and the deposits made, I continually asked questions and researched the sites up until the moment of our departure. Upon arrival in Egypt, we were greeted by the agency's rep who guided us through the enire Visa process. My stress of getting to the hotel that first night and meeting up with others in the tour quickly vanished. I was so grateful for the organization of everything. The 4-star hotels were VERY nice at every place. The food was incredible, too! We had a police escort throughout Egypt and Jordan which provided security during checkpoints and sped us through to keep us on schedule. They were very nice, and the countries appreciate tourists and treat you like VIP. Even in Israel as we drove through parts of the West Bank, we never had any issues. Once we arrived in Israel, the days were long with nonstop Biblical sites to see from 7am-5pm. We were exhausted, but it was nice to see everything listed in the brochures. We even had a few bonus sites when we were ahead of schedule due to lower crowds this time of year. My tips for anyone looking to travel this tour include: - Ladies, use the restroom prior to getting on the ferry (or as soon as you get on) from Egypt to Jordan. The ferry passengers are 99% men who will use the ladie's restroom and it will get uncomfortable/unsafe quickly. - Buy a small bottle of red wine with a twist cap while in the land of Cana and share with the group (along with a bread roll from breakfast and small plastic cups) when you go into the Upper Room. Very memorable! - Phone service is free when connecting over apps like Whats App or FB. Most hotels and transportation buses will have Wifi. - Bring very comfortable shoes. You'll walk 5+ miles daily. - Dress in layers (tshirt, crop pants, outer shirt, scarf, hat). You'll sweat a lot, but the air is dry and it's tolerable. - Introduce yourself to others on the tour and exchange #'s. They can take pics of your family while you take pics of theirs. Share photos afterwards. Don't give your phone to locals. Overall, one of the best trips of my life! The highlights were our camel rides, the hike up Mt. Sinai, the wooden boat ride on the Sea of Gallilee, sharing bread/wine in the Upper Room, and walking the Via Delarosa.

    Poor service before booking.
I have tried for 6 months to get additional info. One person responded with a link and info on a different tour than I had requested. Never heard from that person again. Reached back out to the company and someone else replyed, This person started off doing great, but then faded away. Less communication over time and further apart for response. Wanted to go in March, but due to delays could not get it set up. Now going with another company in Nov. If they would have been more responsive, I never would have looked around and I would be packing for my trip. New company responded within 48 hours on every email.

Very positive. The only disappointments were not enough time to visit the birthplace cave in Bethlehem and Golgotha and the Tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

    Amazing experience
This was such a great experience. Egypt was amazing and Mt. Sinai was amazing and I would recommend hiking up the mountain, it was one of my favorite moments on the trip. Petra was also very nice to see. I wish we would have spent more time in Eilat and at the Dead Sea, but there was just so much to see. I would definitely recommend doing this tour as your first trip to this area so you can have all o the sightseeing and history part done. I also felt very safe throughout the trip.

Best way to tour Holy Land
This is the first structured tour we have taken and we were a a little concerned. But our concerns were quickly put to bed as the tour unfolded. All of the people that serviced us were professional and courteous. But the absolute most positive aspect was Mark, our tour guide. Very professional, knowledgable and approachable. Mark made our tour special. In addition, our transportation to and from the airport was good (we had to leave our hotel at 1:30 AM to get to our flight), The hotels were very nice and the buffet breakfasts and dinners were also very good. Just a great experience.

    Amazing
Israel tourism Consultants blessed my church with a trip of a life time. I was nervous about going to a side of the world I never been and hoping all would go smooth. But I must say their team was awesome, Alex in L.A. who took care of our group reservations and all my questions. From the time we got of the plane we had someone waiting for us at the airport and at every boarder to guide us. Our tour guide George in Egypt was fantastic he new his information and he looked out for us. Our tour guide Jerry in Israel was awesome, he was right there with us from start to finish, he was so patient and understanding. The hotels were on point and check in was smooth. All of the coach buses we top of the line, air conditioned, and in new condition, the drivers were all great. The tours were exactly as describe and then some. Only rough part we experienced was in Petra in Jordan when we went to the Red Rock City the children and horse handlers were extremely aggressive cursing at our children for a bigger tip and we didn't feel safe so we left, other than that all was good. Tips: if you are a picky eater bring lots of snacks, bring cash small bills dollar bills and five dollar bills. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

I organized a group of 16 participants for a 12 Day tour In the Footsteps of Christ Tour II and Jordan. Upon our arrival in Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport, we were warmly welcome by Israel Tourism Consultant representative, Roni who was also our certified tour guide and Bible expert for Israel. He assisted our group to check in for overnight hotel accommodation, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Roni was very professional, patient to answer questions thus enlightening our knowledge of the history behind the excavations and biblical sites we visited and made our experience an exceptional one. Our driver had a supply of cold-water bottles onboard our luxurious motorcoach. We had lots of fun taking pictures and stopping to buy souvenirs on our daily full day touring. Roni went beyond to ensure our transfers in and out of the border in Jordan went smoothly. I also would like to mention that the choice of our 4-star hotels was an elegant, convenient location with top-notch amenities and outstanding service for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotels served an array of sumptuous buffet breakfast and dinner of exquisite Israeli cuisine beautifully presented coupled with impeccable service. When we arrived in Amman Jordan, a very pleasant, good looking young man greeted us who happens to be our certified tour guide and speak fluent English. He is deeply knowledgeable on Jordans' ancient historical and prominent role during Biblical times. He was spirited, genuinely professional and very accommodating to us. We had fun touring and taking pictures. Likewise, our hotel accommodation in Amman and Petra was superb! Sumptuous buffet breakfast and dinner displaying a variety of flavors. It was very satisfying. Overall, the itinerary was well thought up, which covers all the top sights making our journey a memorable experience. Our tour guides and drivers were courteous and amazing! Roni and Fadi kept us on schedule and conveyed all pertinent information with clarity. Special thanks to Israel Tourism Consultants for their signature tour package and I highly recommend their services who may have plans to visit the Holy Land and Jordan.

I highly recommend this trip! We were able to see everything we wanted to see and more. Luis recommended we arrive in Tel Aviv one day early to rest after the flight. We were able to tour the city on own before the official tour began. Both of our tour guides were named Hilik and they were excellent. After all the touring we decided it would be nice to relax for a day in Eilat before we returned home. It was absolutely perfect!

The itinerary looked daunting, and it was very full, but sufficient time was allotted for all the sites. The hotels were good, not always perfect as I would expect from five star hotels (furniture scratches, leaking air conditioners, etc. but beds were comfortable and amenities were generally nice). Meals included were good. A couple on our Israeli leg had gotten ill with food poisoning on the Egypt and Jordan legs prior to Israel and warned not to eat raw food in Jordan, We did the Jordan leg after Israel, and I did eat salads and got a Shigella infection on the last day of our trip. There needs to be a caution about the food in the planned restaurant stops in Jordan, I think. The only other issue, but minor, is the itinerary seemed sketchy. I would have liked to know who (or at least how many) we were traveling with in each segment. Always had to go with the flow. Everyone was very nice! However, there was enough info to get us were we needed to be everyday and the tour guides took it from there. I will never forget this trip. Awesome!

The sites of the Holy Land and Petra, Jordan are amazing. The tour guides were fantastic in explaining its historical background and political aspects. Very enlightening and informative. The only things that ruined this one beautiful trip is our Tour operator MAZADA TOURS. They were "thieves" as many reviews have already said. We should have read reviews of this travel agency before we got them. Big mistake!! After they got our full payment of $5000/pax (We were 4 pax in a private group tour. Total of $20,000. for 4 pax of 9 nights in a hotel, we were under their mercy. They kept on changing our hotels to lower categories. We were paid in January 18 and February 03, 2023. But until our postponed trip (and they were the ones who postponed, not us) in June, they were still looking for hotels for us. Terrible and horrifying experience for us. And to think we were dealing with Mazada's Incoming director, Myriam Jaui. She was terrible.

Trip was as good as expected; the 5-star hotels were in the most case very good, our tour guide in Israel was terrific, the tour guide in Jordan was acceptable, most lunch spots along the tour were fine. A disappointment was we were not advised to not take any Jewish-related religious items into Jordan (that were purchased in Israel). Sadly, an individual in our group had a minora she had purchased as a gift in Israel confiscated by our Jordanian tour guide, costing her the $60 she had spent on the gift she had purchased. Quite an atrocity. The tour company should have alerted all of us in the tour that these items would be confiscated by the Jordanians. And while Petra was an amazing place, the countryside of Jordan is sadly covered in litter and debris. The tour does require an extensive amount of walking nearly every day. I'd rate it 4-stars out of 5.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip. We looked in to the incident about the Menorah that was confiscated from one of the group passengers when entering Jordan. Our local representative has researched this incident and they indicate that apparently this is something that has come up only very recently as it was not the case in the past. That is why not even the local tour operators/guides were aware that this could happen. Steps will be taken to notify all guides so they can inform passengers. Our local representatives are also taking action to replace the item taken away and sending to her if possible. Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback.
