This was a great tour! Started by being picked up at a hotel next door to mine - very short walk from my hotel. From there we met at a meeting point where I got off the pick up bus and boarded another bus with a group of about 30 people. Our tour guide was Aviva and she was wonderful. She provided explanations about the sites visited and we had a wonderful time. We stopped for lunch at a simple restaurant, but the food was delicious. I had chicken shawarma and there was the option of falafel as well. It came with bread, French fries, hummus, different types of salads, juice and water. It was an additional $20USD per person for lunch. On the way back they dropped me off very close to my hotel. It was a long day, but a lot of fun.

A day after I did this tour, I went on another one by another company, and when comparing both, I lived this one better, as it was more organized, less people and the tour guide was more knowledgeable.

Bring cash to tip the driver and the tour guide.

I would highly recommend you doing this tour!

I would highly recommend this tour if you are fortunate to get Norbert as your guide and his excellent driver colleague. What a knowledgeable man who managed the tour so professionally and politely, but with a great sense of humour and a very kind manner. What Norbert brought to the tour made it an exceptional experience and if he had been my history teacher at school I would have done a lot better in my exams. Thank you Norbert ( I will forgive you for supporting Manchester City 😉)

Best part of the trip was the guide Daniel! He did an amazing job considering there were about 25 people on the tour. Very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor too. Ask him about where this picture was taken at Caesarea.

I was a little skeptical after reading a negative review below, but I must say my trip was great. They did advertise that they would pick me up at my hotel, but actually there are only a couple of pick up spots. Fortunately there was one very close to my hotel and they did end up dropping me off close to my hotel on the return. The wait at the transfer station wasn't too long as they have several tours all departing from this central parking area.

I would highly recommend this tour if you want to cover a lot of ground in one day.

We were very pleased with this tour. The sites were all very substantial and the guide, whose name was Ali, was friendly, helpful, informative and very well-prepared. We learned a lot about Israel through touring the sites and listening to Ali’s lively narrations. As the tour ended on a Friday afternoon when public transportation was all shut down, Ali even offered, as a personal favor, to take us back to our own hotel. I highly recommend Bein Harim Tours.

Scenery is super beautiful, superb actually. BUT I wish I had found a smaller company to do this trip with. I thought I booked with Clicktour, later to found out they put me with a massive Ben Harim tour bus. All the reviews are right, you book an English tour, but they “do” it in German and English. I don’t care, I understand both, but the tour was advertised as English solo, and for the poor Germans on the trip it was advertised as a German tour. Reality: it was 70% in English and 30% in German (the Germans had to remind the tour guide to explain them every time). Very poor organization.

Now to the fun stuff: even if the tour is poorly organized, the landscape is unbelievably amazing. It is worth it. Just try to book a smaller company.

Be aware, that Rosh Hanikra sits literally at the Lebanese border, that was not fun. I mean the grottoes are amazing, absolutely beautiful. But the location is a bit scary (imho).

I would definitely recommend going to all this places, just with a different company.

This tour covers the areas that it says. Baha’i gardens was a bit of a disappointment as I had hope to visit all of the 3 sections instead of merely the top part. Ben, our guide, was adequate though he did not elaborate much on the details of each of the places or provide more historical accounts . Not sure if it was for lack of time, he quickly swept through the rooms at Acre and only paused to explain at two chambers. Other guides I noticed, seems to stop more at each area to provide more detailed explanations. When I asked if there were some notable crusader remains found itself, he merely answered yes without elaborating more.

Great tour that takes in major sites in nth Israel .
Caesarea unique place by sea and great inscriptions on display . Hippodrome is fab and helps imagine Circus Maximus in Rome which is bigger but no way as well preserved . Location by sea must have been spectacular . Theatre great too .
Good guide who knew his stuff and made it relaxing visit to some unforgettable places .

I took this trip because I wanted to see the last crusader Stronghold at Akko (Acre). While that was certainly a highlight, it was not the only one.
Acre was a great example of 11th Century Architecture and provided a real sense of crusader life.
The views of Haifa from the top of Mount Carmel were breath taking.
The Grottos at Rosh Hanikra were beautiful and were an unexpected treat.
Cesarea was interesting from a historical perspective. I was especially interested in the construction of it. The site tells a good story but little of the structures survived. I've been to many Roman ruins so though while interesting, no single aspect of the site stood out.

Small group tour of several cities. The highlights were the Roman theatre in Caesaria, the caves in Rosh HaNikra and the Crusader fortress in Akko. The guide provided a lot of background on each city. Many breaks for coffe, lunch and bathroom which may the trio comfortable.
