As you travel, your guide explains Jerusalem’s ancient past and its centrality to Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths. Enter into the Old City to see the Western Wall. Walk along part of the Via Dolorosa pilgrimage route and see the 14 Stations of the Cross that mark Jesus’ route to his crucifixion site, where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands. Back aboard your coach, drive to the Dead Sea, the salt lake located at the earth’s lowest point on land—around 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level. On arrival, enjoy approximately two hours to bathe and laze on the mineral beach. Experience a swim (or float) in the salt-rich waters, and, if you wish, enjoy a mud bath. Later, drive past the historical city of Jericho on your way back to Tel Aviv, where a hotel drop-off ends your trip.

You could visit most of famous spots in 12 hours.
Which means sometimes you don’t have sufficient time in each places. Probably you won’t have time to get into the cave in Church of the Holy Sepulcher cause you only have 30mins staying in the church and the line for the cave is long. But the guide would explain all knowledge you need to know on the bus. The bus is quite compact so huge backpack is not recommended.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience on the tour. We appreciate your feedback regarding the tight schedule of group tours. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is a highly regarded site and a popular destination for tourists, which can sometimes result in overcrowding and long lines, particularly at the Stone of the Unction. To maximize time efficiency, our guides will provide explanations during the tour and strive to stay within the established schedule.

The tour guide paid attention to things like we get enough water, toilet, safe shopping, being mostly in the shadow etc also that we however didn’t visit 100s of places but few and those we had time to see so the tour wasn’t demanding, we didn’t run from a place to another. The tour guide is a real entertainer and was easy to follow the history lesson he provided in the beginning, when we visited a certain place we already knew what it is about - at least briefly. Our tour guide was Yoav.

Whilst in Tel Aviv with a large group of friends, we went on a tour to Jerusalem and The Dead Sea with Bein Harim. Our tour guide, Avishay, gave a succinct history of Israel, demonstrated a great deal of experience, knowledge and leadership skills. His warm personality, sense of humour and passion for his craft made the entire experience memorable. Great tour with absolute value for me, would definitely recommend.

This was my second tour w/ Bein Harim and again it was excellent. I was lucky enough to have Itamar as my guide both days. His energy, humor, knowledge, and easy communication made the 12+ hour day effortless, insightful, and fun.

For anyone looking to really dig in on Jerusalem, I’d recommend a full day (or multiple days) there. This tour does provide a great exposure to the Christian side of Jerusalem, but it only touches on the Muslim and Jewish components. You’ll visit The Western Wall, of course.

I was skeptical about spending my limited time at The Dead Sea. It was cool to float so effortlessly, but personally, I would have preferred to spend more time in Jerusalem or visit Bethlehem instead. I would not knock the tour or my guide for this because it was great for what it is. If you’re not limited on time, then certainly make this stop. One callout is that at the bar I ordered two frozen alcohol drinks and one draft beer and it was $50 (USD). I thought that was a bit much, but that’s the rub for touristy places like this I suppose.

Overall, I highly recommend this tour, the company, and my guide, Itamar.

My husband and I went on this full day tour to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea in February 2023. Our tour guide was Itamar K. and he was excellent! We really liked how he was able to interact with people from all walks of life, answering questions diplomatically and also giving us great knowledge about Israel. The tour allowed us to see many important landmarks around Jerusalem and gave us time to do a little shopping as well. Yes— there were a couple of stores that we *had* to go into doing the tour, but Itamar K. never made us feel too pressured to buy anything from these specific merchants, and we appreciated that. The Dead Sea visit was also fun because we spent a decent amount of time there to feel like we got our money’s worth and we had a good experience as well (it’s definitely a must do if visiting Israel).

Honestly, we were kind of worried about the tour because we had read some reviews that this particular tour company (Bein Harim) was pushy and not a good value for the money, but we completely disagree! Maybe it’s because we had an engaging tour guide and a hilarious driver (he really knew how to land a punchline)…all I know is that we had a great time!

Our guide (Yoav Malachi) showed great responsibility for our safety, on roads and in the town. Along the bus rides and in Jerusalem he provided a nice mix of history of Israel and the religions, cultural do's and don'ts, and fun facts. It was very easy to follow since he started with overviews and then detailed it at the corresponding places (and photo spots). He is well connected with many locals, so that he phoned and lead us through a very optimal route. I learned a ton, with ease and fun. Would do it again!

This is a well organized tour and exactly matches the tour description. Our tour guide was funny and informative, he was happy to show us as much as he could.

I personally didn't really like the gift shop stop (where we stayed for about 30 minutes), but it's acceptable, some tourists want to bring something home and it's impossible to keep 40+ people together if everyone goes into different shops.

January is considered to be off season, but even now Jerusalem was a bit crowded, be prepared.

We did Jerusalem and Dead Sea 1-day tour. Our guide Yoav was fun and knowledgeable. He made jokes on the way and also explained the history and do's/don'ts in Jerusalem. We learned a lot and enjoyed the tour, it is perfect for first time visitors. Plus points to Yoav of handling the chaotic traffic very calmly and not rushing on the streets.

We struggled with having the lunch way too late (or not knowing what time the lunch break is) and not being able to buy snacks on the route. It would have been nice to know so we could plan some more snacks with us.

Our group of 3 missed the bus and had to take a taxi to the next stop not because we were late but because the location of pickup was not accurate enough. Communication with the office was not friendly .Avi, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly
Only one option for where to buy souvenirs and only 2 lunch options from one restaurant, ( it smells of kickbacks).
Also, asking for a good reviews and gratuities is
Very tacky.
Next time I'll take the train and explore at my own pace and eat where I want when I want.

Dear R7915MTjenniferk We are regretful that there was this misinformation. Being late cannot always be blamed on the tour company, even if the circumstances caused the delay. Avi deserves your feedback for his efforts. Lunch has to be at an organized restaurant that caters to groups. In Jerusalem Old City, people get lost and delay tour schedules (years of experience in trying to run it at your preference). As for the Dead Sea - very few options are available in this barren unpopulated region. Group tours are suited for those who can go at a group pace. Traveling solo is obviously a whole different experience. Sincerely, Bein Harim team
