About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 619jeffry0 contributionsGolan view is certainly fascinatingThe views from the Golan Heights are amazing. You can see over Sea of Galilee, where the Golan Heights dominates the outlook. There are lots of strategic factors, including religion. The Golan Heights are in the north-east of Israel, it's well worth a tour.Written 12 February 2024

- blancahavila0 contributionsHorrible experience with ViatorHorrible tour to Valle de Guadalupe We bought a tour to Valle de Guadalupe, from a supposed “Tour company.” They sent us 4 people plus the driver in a 4 persons sedan car, my daughter had to go in the middle for 6 hours. The driver was talking on the phone back and forth, when I told him that I thought it was dangerous for us to do it, he said that he had a lot of experience driving 8 wheelers, so he didn't stop. I don't think it's allowed to take tourists this way. So unprofessional, didn't know anything about the area, he just transported us to the destination in the most uncomfortable and dangerous way. At the last point, the vineyard where they gave us a cheese board, he sat at our table and loudly talked on her cell phone, taking away the only pleasant experience of the entire day. What he did share with us, was all the dangerous places in the area. Although the driver tried, this company is not a professional tour company. We brought a bigger and safer truck, if we had known how bad it would be, we would have left on our own.Written 1 January 2024
- _saroshv0 contributionsBad experience! This tour was badly organized .First we waited outside the hotel for an hour before we were picked up .No one knew where to go .We thought we were finally starting the trip .But we were taken to this hilly top where we waited another hour in a dingy cafe . The tour was rushed as it was getting late .For lunch everyone is taken to this awful resturant with chaos ,substandard food and fighting crowds . Before going into the resturant you have to go thru a shop and they push coupons to you to buy super expensive products . Guide did not have much knowledge or rather one sided knowledge .We were rushed thru Masada which was the main attraction .I asked him a couple of questions breaking his monologue. He did not like it and was very rude . Do not take this tour .If you do bring your own food . It was a waste of money .Written 23 December 2023
- 619jeffry0 contributionsNatural beauty and historical sites in the HeightsThe Golan Heights is an area of outstanding natural beauty and intriguing historical sites It was captured from Syria during the Six Day War in 1967 and is now part of Israel. The Golan Heights is of great strategic importance, it has a commanding view of the northern Galilee. Apart from its military value, the Golan is a fertile agricultural region. The trip from Jerusalem to the Golan takes around two hours by car.Written 3 November 2023
- 619jeffry0 contributionsHoly sites appeal deeply to believersThe Western Wall, often called the Wailing Wall, is sacred to Jews; other denominations are also welcome. It is adjacent to the wall of the Second Temple, which is all that remains of the Temple. The 4th Century Church of the Sepulcher is the site where Christians traditionally gather to commemorate the site of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Holy Sepulcher is also an important destination on the Via Dolorosa, Christ's Way of Suffering. These sites appeal deeply to believers.Written 2 November 2023
- sheri09150 contributionsThis is a wonderful tour and I pray that Israel be able to offer this again in the near future.Note: We went on this tour on 10/5, 36 hours before the Hamas attack. We really enjoyed the drive from Jerusalem and the stops that we made. Masada was a very interesting sight to behold. My only suggestion is to cut the time spent in Masada by about 30 minutes so you can spend that extra time at the Dead Sea. We got less than 30 minutes there, which was not enough. We floated in the sea for about five minutes and then had to get out and shower off to leave.Written 26 October 2023

- annamO2966LV0 contributionsDangerous and not reliableI was picked up 1 hour later from the hotel During the waiting hour I didn't receive any text or email saying if the tour is cancelled or I still will be picked up After one hour we where dropped off near Western wall and where regrouping again which took another hour During the drive the driver of the bus and the tour guide where discussing the current political citation in Israel (I think it was in Hebrew or Arabic ) and the driver while driving was showing YouTube clips to the guide It was in time of unrest in Israel before the terrorists attack by Hamas We were brought for lunch to overpriced cafeteria with horrible food where they had beef stew on display but served you meat balls The most horrible and unpleasant experience during my whole tripWritten 14 October 2023
- Vilma A0 contributionsTrip to masada and dead seaDan Porges was the best tour guide, he was very informative, this is our first tour in Jerusalem and we learned a lot from him. We really enjoyed this tour to masada and dead sea, everything was well organized, the ruins in masada national park are amazing, swimming in the dead sea was fun, we floated with no effort, science is proved with no doubt, we are happy we joined this tour.Written 13 October 2023
- diannes5140 contributionsBrilliantOur favourite time on the tour was with our tour guide Avi. Took us into the old city. He was knowledgeable and understanding. I would like to know if Avi is safe. With all the horrors that’s the enfolding in his country. He was a caring man.Written 13 October 2023
- jamiee7540 contributionsDan Porges was a great guide at MasadaGreat day, well-organized. The bus was not at the pick up hotel right when it was supposed to be, maybe 10 minutes late, which made us nervous, but they eventually arrived. Dan was a fun and knowledgable guide. The place where you go to the Dead Sea is a sort of private/public beach - a lot of stairs down to the sea, not the cleanest place I've gone into the Dead Sea from, but it was fine. Overall, recommended.Written 12 October 2023

The tour started from Tel Aviv, setting off to the Golan Heights at around 7:30 am on Sunday 9th February 2020. The most memorable moments for me was the visit to the Ancient Katzrin Village, our enactment of the Katzrin dressing, and visiting the ancient dwellings. I also enjoyed the scenery of the Golan Heights, the views of the 3 countries from one point (at Coffee Anna, ie Coffee in the Clouds!), namely, Israel, Syria, and Lebanon. The tour guide was very friendly, informative, and entertaining. Our guide, My Yoav Malachi, was kind enough to introduce us to one of the popular Israeli cousine (eg, hummus) and great wine from the Golan Heights Winery. I strongly recommend this tour- thank you Mr Malachi for your professionalism.

You have visited spectacular locations in our country and it is clear you were fascinated by the landscape that made an everlasting impression. Yoav certainly deserves such complimentary feedback for his professionalism, vast guiding experience and pleasant

We are so happy that you loved Hummous, indeed our national and renowned dish, together with excellent wines from the region.

Yuval Bigio leads an enlightening Tour of Israel that is historically thorough, filled with passion, enthusiasm and an injection of good humor. Over 8 days we toured most of the key spots from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem (comprehensive "Old City" walking tour), the West Bank, Golan Heights, Dead Sea, Masada, Tiberius, Caesarea, and more. Activities ranged from walking tours in religiously significant areas, floating in the Dead Sea, jeep rides in the Golan Heights, Caliber3 training, camel rides and much more. Yuval's passion for Israel is infectious, religiously sensitive and inclusive, and invites participation. My wife and I are eternally grateful for his guided excellence!

Best Tour Guide: Avi
Best Experiences that I had with the tour: Baptism at Jordan River, Dead Sea Experience, Touching the holy stone and seeing the tomb in Jerusalem
I highly recommend this company, the other guides Orion and Eyal are good too but I’m biased with Avi since I’ve been with him for three days.
I advise you guys to see the places that you really want to visit in Israel if you’re on a tight budget, since they have separate day tours for each.
The company is really good with transport and communicating with the customers. I have been bothering them non stop but they were very patient with me.
I wish I booked 10-12 day tour which they had. I wouldn’t have been rushing. I just learned about it from my fellow tourists.

Every tour of our 9-day Christian tour was exceptional. From pickup to drop-off the whole day was very organised and allowed enough time to see and appreciate all of the sites. The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help. They made it their priority to ensure everyone was having an enjoyable and worthwhile experience, especially tour guide Zahi Shaked. Thank you Bein Harim for a trip of a lifetime!

I booked a 5 day Israel tour through TourRadar. I am a solo traveler so I paid extra for single accommodation. This operator put in a different hotel for every single day of the tour. I also had to walk over to the gathering point with my luggage, and walk over to the hotels they booked for me from the bus drop off point. After the first day tour, the entire bus was going back to Tel Aviv, and I ended up to be the only person who need to go to Jerusalem hotel. So they dropped me off at a rest stop in the desert, and I had to wait for another bus going to Jerusalem to pick me up. They said 15 minutes of wait, but ended up to be over half an hour. Then the bus only dropped me off 500m away from the hotel they booked for me. In the hotel, they registered me as Armenian passport, even thought I provided them my U.S. passport information through TourRadar and through their online registration. Then I received another phone call from their office asking for my passport information again. This tour operator is highly unorganized and unprofessional. I would avoid any tours associated with them in the future.

We took the 5 day Jewish tour package with Bein Harim. They were extremely well run. Each day, we were picked up from our hotel lobby on time and with a smile. The tour guides were extremely well informed about the sights that they were showing us and were always eager to answer questions. Explanations were in depth and the tours themselves were a lot of fun. The buses were clean and most had wi-fi as well. The sights were all magnificent and interesting. We took the superior hotel package and hotels were beautiful with incredible breakfasts. I would recommend Bein Harim very highly.

HORRIBLE COMPANY/AVOID THEM/NEVER AGAIN - NAZARETH, GALILEE, CAESAREA, HAIFA, JERUSALEM, MASADA, DEAD SEA & BETHLEHEM!
Beinharim Tour was a total fail. They're clueless, not helpful and feed the wrong information. They're making everything inconvenient for us! Word of advice avoid Beinharium Tours!
Tour 1- Nazareth and Galilee
The tour guide Meir was ok. The lunch place was so expensive!
Tour 2 - Caesarea and Haifa
The bus trip was uncomfortable.
Tour 3 - Jerusalem Old and New
The tour guide was confusing I was asking which bus he won't answer it directly. Once we arrived at Jerusalem meeting point the bus we need to take a minivan and the luggage storage was almost full luckily there were still empty seats so we placed our luggage on the seats. The tour was ok.
Tour 4 - Masada and Dead Sea
This was the worst of all our tour. At the hotel we were waiting for the driver/guide at the lobby but we couldn't see them and it took awhile until the driver approach the reception! The driver told us that we need to change bus and told us that our bus is number 11, so we waited for bus 11 at Mt. Scopus and we waited for so long until most of the bus left already and then some staff approach us and asked us which bus we told them number 11 and then they checked we should be at number 12 which was already there when we arrived. They're feeding us wrong information and staff were clueless and was not helpful!
Tour 5 - Bethlehem Halfday Tour
The tour and guide was ok.

Dear Werdcam,
We are sorry for this, and apologize as it seems there were some unclear issues that caused you uncertainty and even an extended wait. Logistics are sometimes complicated. Confusion amidst a lot of travelers is unpleasant Luggage space in any van is limited, unless you let us know in advance so we can arrange additional vehicles to transport the luggage to your next destination. That would have assisted you. It seems the tours for most of the day were good as you wrote. For this we are glad as our guiding services are of the highest quality.
Sincerely,
Bein Harim Tourism Services

As this is the first trip for my family and myself to Israel (and the middle east). Bein Harim Tour Agency have been amazing in keeping our trip interesting and informative. The five-day tour from Tel-Aviv was very well organised and easy for us to follow and all the guide leaders are all professional and informative, especially keeping the profesionalism up in the heat (but I suppose they should be used to it by now!) :)
Moreover, I would like to say my appreciation specifically to Eyal Shoval and Isaac. Eyal was with us from day 1 and 2 of the tour and he made a great first impression by being attentive and answers our questions - even though my father didn't speak English well, Eyal still made the effort to try and answer his questions thoroughly. Every now and then, he would also come to ask the group to make sure everyone was okay, so we feel like someone is actually care for our well being.
On the other hand, Isaac was with us on the last day of the tour in the Jerusalem. He is very humble and humourus guy and have made the last trip an interesting experience with his fun character. It also looks like he has been leading a similar tour many times in the past, which is helpful because he recomended us where is the best place to purchase souvenirs and best restaurant to eat etc.
I would definitely ask for these two guys if I ever come back to Israel to do the tour with Bein Harim again (which is quite likely!) - Other travel enthusiasts who wants to do the tour should also ask for these two gentlemen!

Lorne Newman provide an outstanding background and perspectives to our tour. He also added some fun jokes to keep some humor going all day long. These tours requires the tour master to keep track of people in crowded spaces with many people as well as in and out of the bus as we toured the multiple areas. If you are thinking about going, do it soon, more tourists are coming than ever. Even in February many people are at the peak locations. If you are lucky you will get the privilege of Lorne Newman to educate you while you see these amazing sights & history.
