The free walking tour was fully booked and we only had one day to have a guided tour, so we paid for the holy city tour and our guide was Anat. Completely worth the cost of the tour, as our guide was excellent and has a great knowledge about the overall history. She took care of

This was the best tour we went on. I learned about history about these places. Saw Golgotha. Heard how different religious people live close to each other in peace. Saw the upper room. Placed my prayer in the wailing wall. So moving.

I have done many of these walking tours before and this was by far the worst. The group was much bigger than they promised: 34 people! It was way to big of a tour Especially a paid tour. You would rush to a spot listen for a few minutes, than you have 5 minutes to actually see

Response from SNE_Violeta, Guest Relations Manager at New Jerusalem: Holy City Tour
Responded 1 week ago
Hi comeflywithky, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for joining the tour in Jerusalem. We love to hear back from engaged travellers such as yourself, as your feedback helps us to continue making improvements and ensure that tours and experiences promoted by SANDEMANs NEW Europe meet the high standards that travellers expect of us. We are sorry to hear that your expectations were not met on this occasion. Whilst the tour’s route and content are listed on our website, the independent guides we work with may alter the tour in order to suit their own style and each group’s dynamic. We feel this adds a personal touch that makes tours promoted by SANDEMANs fresh and unforgettable, but it may also mean that the tour’s stories and sites are not in line with every guests’ preferences which, unfortunately, can be a difficult situation to avoid. While on the whole, the vast majority of guests are extremely satisfied, we do state on our promotional material that all the tours do differentiate from one another due to the individual nature of the guides we work with. We check our online bookings regularly before the tour to make sure that the group size is unlikely to exceed our maximum of 30 people per group. On rare occasions, the group sizes may go over this number due to unexpected guide unavailability or unusually high demand without reservation on the day. Nonetheless, in the event of a larger-than-usual group, the guide will do everything they can to ensure that guests can follow them comfortably. We are truly sorry if the size of your group had a negative effect on your experience. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We hope this experience will not prevent you from joining us again in the future. All the best, The SANDEMANs Team

The Anat (our tour guide) has made this tour awesome! I have arrived very disappointed with the organisation, after being to couple of really good Sandeman’s tours in the past so I had high expectations. Not much time after the tour start, Anat energy has brought us onto right
