I was in Israel for the first time on a business trip for a week with a colleague and we spontaneously decided to go on a day trip to Jerusalem and Bethlehem with Bein Harim Agency. What we didn't know was how lucky we were with our guide Ami Bar Gil. I am very grateful that he introduced us to this extraordinary place. With his positive and friendly manner and his profound knowledge, he knew how to bring history to life without becoming pathetic or one-sidedly religious. He managed to do the almost impossible and get the entire group (a whole bus full after all) through the chaos of Jerusalem's Old City without anyone getting lost. He also brought us closer to all the sights with interesting details and pictorial explanations. Afterwards we visited Bethlehem, where the group was split up and handed over to two local guides, which I consider an extremely fair gesture towards the locals. You could tell that Ami had the welfare of the local population at heart as well. We always felt safe and well looked after. I would also like to mention the bus driver, who always drove safely and calmly. This is not a matter of course, as we experienced on another trip to the Dead Sea. Thanks to Ami and the Ben Harim team for allowing us to have this experience. I would wish it on anyone seeing Jerusalem and Bethlehem for the first time and with limited time. It motivated me to come back and experience more.

Last month I visited Israel. It was a fantastic 4-day trip full of positive emotions and amazing experiences.
I took a full day trip from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem in order to explore the country and see some of the holiest places in the world with my own eyes.
We had a very entertaining tour guide - driver who, besides knowing the history of the country and being able to answer any questions from the group, was also a real entertainer. Honestly, Yoav could take a second job as a stand up comedian. As a group, we had so much fun together!
I loved the trip. I wish the traffic wasn’t as bad and we would have more time to wonder around and explore the old Jerusalem. Definitely 5 out of 5 and hope to be back soon!

If I could say it in one word: Amazing. Ami was one of the best tour guides I had so far. He is funny and careful and as a Teacher of Archaeology, he really knows his stuff. He took us to Bethlehem and Jerusalem the old City and showed us so many details, and shared so many insight stories it was fantastic. During the tour, he not only talked he also opened space for discussions and sharing thoughts from the group so that everyone could bring something maybe meaningful or interesting. At the end of the tour, He negotiated with his boss to bring us directly to our hotel not where we started but where we stayed so that we saved around 170NIS A fantastic experience and as we will come back for sure I will make sure to book him again. Thank you so much, Ami

I would like to thank you - travel agency Bein Harim and especially Norbert Nakache, that made the trip really pleasant despite of waiting in the line when it was necessary. I travel a lot and so it’s really a pleasure when someone made something more for you above his salary. Norbert has helped me to get to the airport after I was forced to leave the group and was not able to get back to Tel Aviv because of lack of time. I wish Bein Harim to have more such guides that will improve the quality of tours and will spread a good impression of trips in Israel. Kind regards :-)

This 11 hour experience could have been done in half the time with better logistics. Guides were doing their best but 30+ in the group is too large. Very difficult to hear the guides with the size of the group and the background noise. Church of the Nativity is overcrowded and poorly managed. Too much pushing and impatience for a holy place.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the suboptimal logistics and the size of the group which may have affected your ability to hear the guides and fully enjoy the experience. We understand that during holiday periods, the Church of the Nativity can become overcrowded, and we regret any discomfort that you may have experienced during your visit.
In order to provide a better experience for our guests, we would like to inform you that we will be offering small group tours in the near future. These tours will allow us to provide more personalized attention to our guests.
Thank you for choosing our tour company, and we look forward to the opportunity to show you more of the region's sights in the future.

The day trip in Jerusalem and Bethlehem was brilliant. our tour guide Itamar Buk was great, he provided detailed knowledge and insights of all the places we visited as part of the tour. What was great was he provided a detailed introduction and explanation of the places before we arrived. I would highly recommend the tours and if you are lucky enough to get Itamar you will have a great time !

TOMER you are the BEST!
If we could put a higher score we would do it happily!!! The tour is an unforgettable experience! The history the architecture and “the spirit”of Jerusalem are quite complex and I would say that is extremely important to do your first visit with an organized tour. You get an excellent insight and really feel the true vibe of what is going on there! BUT our tour guide Tomer made the whole difference. Passionate knowledgable making it pleasant with a great sense of humour he is simply Charismatic! Ask for a tour with him!!! Regards From Greece!!!

This tour was soo good! Our tour guide, Yaov, was really nice and made the group (<15 people) feel engaged. The tour felt well prepared and we were able to go to all the key sites. We also had time to go souvenir shopping and go to a fun café for a bathroom and coffee break. This was my first time in Israel and I learnt a lot and felt safe. Overall I'm really happy I went on this tour and would recommend!

Super moving tour as a Christian. Jerusalem is a fantastic place with unbelievable vibes + the number of information depends on how much you are willing to digest for such an important place for all beliefs for centuries. Avi managed to make it fun and super insightful. I definitely recommend this tour that I took pretty much last minute. Very good value for money.

We're planning to take this Day tour on Dec 25, 2022. Being a Christmas day, are there any restrictions or limitations regarding entrance to the different churches or points of interest included in your itinerary?

Must be crowded indeed, FYI Bethleem is in the Palestine territories, you go thru the Wall between IL and the territories and it is at the border. Now entrance procedure both ways is pretty lax, the company being probably well known on both sides.

We went to Israel in October and took this tour and visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. There were a lot of people there and the lines to get into the tomb and the Rock of Calgary were long. But with that said, the Church itself, is a must see. There are plenty of areas to pray in the Church. We took plenty of pictures and it was a highlight of our Israel trip.
