- P4762FRemmam0 contributionsVery good trip in KyrgyzstanNice trip. The arrangement is good. Quick response to my queries. My guide, Asa is very good, telling me a lot about the country and arranged the trip well. May needa consider adjusting the itinery if needa catch a early flight on the last day.Written 28 September 2024
- kieranduddy0 contributionsA must do in BishkekThis is a must do when in Bishkek. A beautiful way to the see the main sites of Bishkek, whilst also getting out to rue mountainous region. Faruk picked us up at our hotel at 8:30am and he is so lovely and he went above and beyond for us and offered so many additional stops and we were so impressed with his knowledge. The car was so comfortable, the hike was great and Faruk changed the lunch plans to cater for vegetarian food for us both. I honestly couldn’t recommend this day trip highly enough! Don’t think twice about booking this - just do it! You won’t regret it.Written 24 September 2024
- NYTraveler41930 contributionsExcellent guide in KyrgyzstanAnvar was a great guide. He speaks very good English and was proud to share his country with us. He easily explained the history and society of Kyrgyzstan. He was also a safe driver and made an effort to show us everything that we wanted to see. In addition to his concern for our enjoyment, he also chose an excellent restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend Anvar and this tour when exploring Bishkek and the surrounding area.Written 19 September 2024
- julietg3620 contributionsA perfect introduction to Kyrgyzstan, hope to come back!We had an amazing time in Kyrgystan and we are so glad we chose Datka travel. Talgat was highly flexible and collaborative in shaping our itinerary and our fantastic guide Urmat was great company and made the trip truly memorable, also catering to our dietary requirements and introducing us to the amazing landscape, food, and culture of Issyk Kul. Everything exceeded expectations but highlights were the eagle show and horse riding - we’d love to come back to the yurt camp one day :)Written 18 September 2024
- s0ltraveller0 contributionsAs advertised and moreSuperb from start to finish. Highly communicative before, despite my constant reconfirming! Exactly as advertised. And offered group or individual as per my preference. The hike is unbelievable. Really made the whole Kyrgyzstan experience smooth.Written 17 September 2024
- meghabaskey0 contributionsHighly recommended! It was a wonderful and memorable 4 days private tour with Datka Travel. Communicating with Mr. Talgat about the itinerary was easy through whtsapp. From airport transfers to day tours to National Park, Bishkek city, Burana Tower, canyons and Issyk kul lake and arranging a stay in Chon Kemin..everything was well taken care of. Special mention to our guide Mr. Andrew. He was very friendly and punctual. He took special care for all our dietary restrictions too. Showed us beautiful locations. He took us to many local cafes/restaurants where the food was very delicious. Pickup/drops for all day tours were on time. The vehicle was clean. Kyrgyzstan no doubt is a very scenic and beautiful country with very friendly people. Overall, it was a very memorable trip. We highly recommend Datka travel services for Kyrgyzstan.Written 14 September 2024
- annabU1994SD0 contributionsBeautiful hike with great tour companyThe trail to waterfall is quite steep but nothing too extreme. Very nice view of the valley with beautiful mountains around. The waterfall was very beautiful already with some snow and ice in places. Our tour guide was very friendly, polite, and interesting to talk about Kyrgyzstan's people, country. We had very enjoyable time hiking in beautiful environment with very nice guide. Highly recommend this company.Written 12 September 2024

- lightoftheknight0 contributionsWill definitely remember this beautiful experience or Kyrgyzstan!I recommend Datka Travel so much! I liaised very easily with Talgat from Datka Travel via WhatsApp, and he customised this tour to include Konorchek Canyons as we wanted to see more nature in the tour. We greatly appreciate! On the day of the tour, our guide Faruk met us promptly at our hotel and I wish to commend his really excellent service from start to end. He shared with us rich information about life in Kyrgyzstan and we learnt so much! That was nothing compared to the support he rendered to us during our hike to Konorchek Canyons. It was an hour hike (one-way) and the hike involved challenging obstacles enroute, which Faruk was able to guide us expertly on how to pass through. He even physically pulled us up at some points. Very grateful for taking care of us so well. The tour itself is beautiful and well-organised, and the sights that we saw at Konorchek Canyon and horseriding at Chon Kemin really showed us the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan, which we wanted to see. Lunch at a traditional Kyrgzs guesthouse with very hospitable hosts really added a local touch to the whole experience. Thank you so much Talgat and Faruk and Datka Travel for this tour experience that I will surely remember!Written 11 September 2024
- eloy4660 contributionsEnjoyable excursionsI took 2 tours with Datka Travel, the 4 hour Bishkek food tour and the Burana Tower/Konorchek Canyon tour. Both are highly recomended. The guides, Talgat and Faruk, are very knowledgeable, friendly and commited. For me it was a great experience in both cases.Written 9 September 2024
- TAMAN19510 contributionsGreat dayOur guide Andrey was perfect for us. Since we had already seen a number of spots on the original plan he was able to quickly modify or tour to show us things we missed. Very polite and knowledgeable. We had some great good and a great experience. We highly recommend this organization.Written 9 September 2024
- Inspire2737830 contributionsGreat day tourIf you're looking for a day away from the busy city of Bishkek, this is a great tour. Our tour guide, Begy, was wonderful, very accommodating, and took great care of us. I highly recommend.Written 8 September 2024
- zinniaw20230 contributionsBrilliant day trip from BishkekBrilliantly organised trip, I’m so glad I went with datka travel. Our guide was really knowledgeable and catered to our needs really well. Joined up with another couple for this tour and they had mixed dietaries which were well looked after. Went first to Burana tower then drove on to the horse riding. Driving was really safe and the tour was brilliant. Stunning views, horses were in really good condition and well looked after, and it was a really lovely way to enjoy the scenery.Written 3 September 2024
- jnitis0 contributionsAmazing tourEverything about this tour was fantastic. My tour guide Anvar was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. The hike to the waterfall in the morning was beautiful. We had time in the afternoon to drop by several interesting spots in the city. I learned so much about Kyrgyzstan culture, history, and people. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!Written 31 August 2024
- Julian V0 contributionsAwesome adventure on horses & a suspension bidge!Great Experience! Andrey, our driver & guide, was friendly & polite. With our permission he took us to an additional touristy location called Supara which was interesting (not to be confused with Supara Chunkurchak, which we went to later). It has architecture & design with an eye towards old fashioned Kyrgis traditions. Then we drove to Chunkurchak Gorge to see a modest waterfall, but with a spectacular view from the suspension bridge... quite an experience... also had the options to be filmed by a drone when walking on the bridge, as well as to climb down into the gorge! From there we were taken to Supara Chunkurchak for horseback riding, dinner, archery & even an optional zipline that was not previously advertised! It was all great!Written 26 August 2024

My mother and I went on a one-day trip to Issyk-Kul, and the trip was fantastic, meeting all our expectations. During the trip, we visited Burana, ate homemade bread, took a boat ride on Issyk-Kul Lake, bathed in a hot spring, saw petroglyphs on rocks, and visited Rucho Orto. Our driver was Azamat Kaldybaev, who was fantastic—educated, kind, and provided us with all the information about Kyrgyzstan. In the end, he gifted us Kyrgyz cognac, and we went with him to a traditional dinner. Azamat, thank you so much once again, and have a safe upcoming trip to the USA."

I had a good day. I started in Bishkek, when Faruq, my guide, picked me up at my hotel. Then, we went to the Ancient Burana Tower, which is Amazing, a must see sight. Later, we moved closer to Issik Kul, the famous lake. We had a short but refreshing lunch, and then we finally reached Cholpon Alta, a small place by the shores of the Lake Issik Kul. There, I took a boat 🚢 for almost an hour. It was a nice boat tour around the Lake, with the Mighty Tian Shan Mountains in the background.
Later, we went to a nice Spa, with natural and hot springwaters, very good for health and relaxation. Later, we briefly visited for a few minutes a couple of old and abandoned cemeteries on the road 🛣️ to Bishkek. Faruq took me back to my hotel 🏨. Very Good Experience. Datka is a reliable Travel 🧳 Agency and Faruq is a good guide, able to drive safely and speak good English. Very satisfied.

I was very satisfied with the tour led by Mr. Ulan. I had seen what I wanted to see and took many photos. There were another 2 passengers in this tour. One lady from Dubai and a gentleman from Seoul. Mr. Ulan conducted himself very well and made us feel at ease and we mixed around well and shared our other travel adventures. Mr. Ulan knows his job well and I had a wonderful time. I am very sure the other two participants would also shared my experience. Thank you Mr. Ulan I will always remember this adventure.

We did the Issyk Kul tour with Datka travel on 19th Nov 2023. Urmat, our guide, drove us first to the historic Burana tower. In the cold foggy morning, it was a sight to behold. We then travelled through, taking in the country sights. On the way we stopped at a famous local roadside eatery for hot bread and tea. In Issyk kul we visited the fantastic spiritual park Rukh Ordo, created to celebrate the oneness of humanity. Overlooking the massive lake, this wonderfully constructed park has multiple statues and monuments. So serene and peaceful! We also visited a local sanatorium. (We skipped the hot springs swimming, and the boat ride.) After a great lunch at a national restaurant Olimp, we returned to Bishkek. Urmat regaled us with his interesting stories. Superb day tour by Datka!
