My friend and me booked the Cu Chi Tunnels through Get Your Guide but we quite liked how Vietnam Adventure Tours ran everything so we ended up booking Mekong Delta as well a few days later. Our guide Tuyen (Betti) was very energetic, positive and informative and she kept us engaged with some cliff hangers and jokes as we were going through the place. We have nothing but good to say, if you get to go to Saigon the tunnels is a must see

This was a fantastic trip and I would definitely recommend it, it was also great value compared to how much some of the smaller/ private tours can cost.
We were picked up from our hotel at the exact time they gave. Thankfully we were one of the last to be picked up - if you’re first you’ll get a tour of Ho Chi Minh’s Hotels!
Our guide Jason was brilliant and made the trip. He was very informative about everything to do with the Cu Chi tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City in general, he was very funny and was also extremely helpful taking photos and holding bags when we went down the tunnels.
On the way there’s an obligatory stop at a handicapped handicraft factory/ shop. Lots of other vans with tourists stopped there whilst we were there so there’s probably no escape from it! The stuff was lovely but I don’t think anybody bought anything apart from food. The stop was too long here but that was because of people waiting for food.
The Cu Chi tunnels is just amazing - the mind boggles at what they endured and their inventiveness. Going in the afternoon was good as it was relatively quiet and we had more time to experience it and to take those all important classic photographs.

Hotel pick up was fantastic ,our tour guide came till our airbnb stay located in the alley to pick us up. Aircon bus to the cu chi tunnels with a stop over at some egg shells art gallery , the guide was good and tour was hassle free for the money paid.
The tunnels can be done easily atleast the first 40meter with exit every 20 meter.
There is a shooting range with many options of guns. Especially recommend the AK 47,around 600,000vnd for 10bullets.
Washroom facilities are good at the location.
I recommend this tour option.

The morning tour guided by Long was a very insightful experience, operated with smiles. The process from booking, meeting at the pick-up point and the trip itself was run smoothly with clear communication. I would definitely recommend the tour, which can paired with a visit to the War Remnants Museum afterwards for a day of time travel.

Great small group trip. Highly recommend a small group bus as some of the larger groups looked very unmanageable. Worth the extra to get a comfortable wide seat in a small van. Theo our very chatty guide was a little perky first thing in the morning but soon found the right tone between information and engaging the group. Good tour overall and lunch was excellent

We did the tour in the cu chi tunnel, the cost of the tour was 25 usd (there is a tour with more amenities and more expensive) and it was worth every penny. The company was very punctual, the car was confortable and our guide Betty raised the level of the tour with her high level of knowledge in addition to being very outgoing and friendly which made the team very comfortable during the tour. The place is amazing and worth the visit!

Our tour guide Hang did a good job of keeping everyone entertained and explaining the history of the tunnels which were very interesting. She also took some photos for us which was nice.
The tunnels themselves are really cool, it's hard to imagine people people fitting through them and even living underground. You get a chance to see the real tunnels and also a chance to go through some sections that were made/expanded for tourists. If you suffer from claustrophobia you probably won't want to go through them as they're quite small still; I'm 179cm and 93kg and i had to crawl on my hands and knees. I'd still recommend going even if you don't want to go into the tunnels (a couple of people on our tour didn't).
It would be nice to stay there an extra 30-60 minutes just to look around at a leisurely pace because you only get about 90-100 minutes there and then there's like 5 hours traveling to and from.
The shooting range is a total rip off, minimum 400k VND for 10 shots or 600k VND to shoot an ak 47. On top of that it looks like the guns are mounted to the wall so you're really just pulling the trigger.
Overall a cool day out to learn a bit of history.

We booked this tour through trip advisor. Our tour guide Mr Cung arrived at our hotel on time for the pick up. We sat on the bus which was comfortable enough and drove round picking up the other guests on the tour. Once we had everyone Mr Cung introduced himself and told us everything that would be happening during our day. He was very knowledgeable and funny with his sense of humour. We stopped at an art craft factory on the way where they showed us how they male these paintings and then they showed us a massive shop with all the paintings on sale. They said all proceeds from the sales went to the people who were affected by the agent orange in the Vietnam war, but I’m not so sure! They said every one of them was hand made but i found some that were exactly the same in Ho Chi Minh city for half the price, Tourist trap springs to mind. Anyway we then made our way to the tunnels. Once we got there Mr Cung got us our tickets and off we went. He took us around all the different parts of the tunnels, explaining everything as we went, he’s a funny guy. You then stop at the refreshment and shooting range, where you can get a drink and shoot a few guns if you want to. After that was the best part for be personally, you get to crawl through the tunnels. I crawled the full distance, which was 160 metres I think. It really is something you must do when on this tour. We then left for the 2 hour journey back to Ho Chi Minh. This tour is a must do if you are in Vietnam and have the time, the tour does take the best part of a whole day. Mr Cung was a great tour guide and I would definitely recommend this tour

The itinerary was accurate to the tee, the tour was super organized, and our tour guide was an absolute joy. Hang had so much knowledge about the history behind the tunnels and the city as whole, and led the tour in such a fun, engaging way. There was just enough time to see, listen to, and enjoy everything, but nothing felt rushed. Thank you again to Hang and the team for an awesome experience!

We did three tours in Vietnam; Chi Chi tunnels, Mekong (with the same company) and My Son. The Chi Chi tunnel tour is the only one we would recommend, and that is a result of the quality tour guide we had. Our guide (‘Thai’) was extremely knowledgeable and keen to pass that on to those of us on the tour. He was very engaging and his personal connection to the war made everything much more meaningful. Right from the bus journey there it was clear that this was going to be a better tour than the others, with Thai giving lots of background information and playing some informative videos. Furthermore, Thai’s English was particularly good and he even bought us some treats on the journey back 🙏 excellent

Hello! I went on the morning tour on the morning of Sunday (30th October) and was picked up from Queen Ann Hotel. I think I accidentally left a white blasting bag with 3 books inside on the top shelf on the bus above my seat. The bus was red and the number plate was 50F 022.74. Have you been able to find this?
