Private Bangkok in One Day with Chao Phraya River Cruise
From US$94.00
Take the stress out of navigating sprawling Bangkok and let a private guide show you the best of the city on this full-day tour. See the Thai capital’s most famous sights including the Temples of the Golden and Emerald Buddhas, Grand Palace, and flower market, with time built in to explore and shop for goods. A delicious buffet lunch and sightseeing cruise along the Chao Phraya River are included.
What to Expect
Begin the day with pickup at your central Bangkok Hotel, and head to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha statue at the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), where you can absorb the massive size and history of the 700-year old icon for about an hour. Next, do a little shopping with a guided walk through Chinatown and a visit to the colorful flower market (Pak Khlong Talat).

Explore Thai religion and royalty with stops at the dazzling Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and Grand Palace before recharging with a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, glide down the city’s main waterway on a 1-hour cruise down the Chao Phraya River in a traditional long-tail boat. It’s a scenic way to travel to the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), known for its high Khmer-style tower. Cross the river to tour the impressive Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) before returning to the door of your hotel.

Price charged way, way over what site advertises

I thought I had found the perfect solution to my challenge: Limited time in Bangkok? (yes!) Private tour with English speaking guide? (yes!) Price quoted on website reasonable? (yes! not cheap but a reasonable amount more than the half-day tour I would have otherwise considered)...More
