2 travellers
This tour takes you to the world famous bridge on the River Kwai, built during World War II by the prisoners of war. The bridge is located near the town of Kanchanaburi, 130 kms west of Bangkok. This Tour is available as a Private Tour or Joint Tour.
  • Escape the city and discover Bangkok's history
  • Travel between attractions in air-conditioned comfort
  • All entrance fees and lunch are included
  • A great choice for history buffs
What to Expect
Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Bangkok, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the Bridge on River Kwai. During the journey, your guide provides an overview of how thousands of prisoners of war were forced to work on a railroad track that connected Myanmar with Thailand. Stop first at the Bridge on River Kwai before continuing to a section of the Thai-Burma Death Railway and two cemeteries that pay tribute to the 16,000 prisoners that died during the construction of the railway. After a Thai lunch at a local restaurant, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

Visiting the bridge was on my bucket list and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed on the river and arranged my own "tour" which was very easy, simple to do. A great trip, nice, helpful folks everywhere I went.

You need to call them. They dont pick from every hotel even they mention that while selling the package. If you are out of way even little bit they will make you join them some where in different hotel.
