Overview

See Oahu from high in the sky with the wind in your hair on this 45-minute, open-door helicopter tour. Board the helicopter and ascend to enjoy unobstructed views of the island’s beaches, waterfalls, and sights like Pearl Harbour, the world’s largest agricultural maze, and the Halona Blowhole. Learn about the sights from your pilot and take away a souvenir DVD of the flight. Transportation from select hotels included.

What to Expect

Set your departure time and get picked up at your (select) Waikiki hotel. At the helipad, board an open-door helicopter and buckle in for unobstructed bird’s eye views. Throughout the flight your pilot will provide narration through a two-way headset. Fly high with the wind in your hair over Magic Island, Keehi Lagoon, the Aloha Tower, and Ala Moana Beach Park. Soar over natural and undeveloped Oahu to see waterfalls, mountains, valleys, the coral reef of Kaeohe Bay, and more on route to Ka'a'awa Valley. Further east, overlook a volcanic crater at Hanauma Bay, a popular snorkelling destination. Next, look down as you pass Sandy Beach, the lighthouse at Makapuu Point, Sea Life Park, and hover over the world’s largest agricultural maze. Finally, fly over the 1,000-foot (300-meter) Sacred Falls and take in panoramic views of Pearl Harbour before heading back to the helipad.

Went out with 4 and came back with 4!! 🤣

Pilot Jim was AMAZING! He took us to various points of interest on the island and provided interesting facts at each location. He made my son feel at ease and explained why we feel “bumps”. He kept the flight funny and interesting with his stories....More

Ah, that's great news Amanda. We're always happy when the same number of guests returns as started out. Less paperwork that way. I'm happy Jim showed you and your son a great time. And driver Steven's a gem, eh?

BEYOND AWESOME!!!

Our pilot Nathan was phenominal. Not only did he maneuver the helicopter so that both sides could view various points of interest, but he was very knowledgeable about the island. This may be his career and he does it repetitively, but he made it fun...More

I, too, am in awe of our pilots: to be able to muster enthusiasm for something you've done many thousands of times is both a skill and an art. Thank you for taking the time to post, and for your "beyond awesome" comments.

I'm stoked, Daniel, that you were able to grab some good photos on the tour. That's one of the chief draws of flying without the doors. That, and the fresh air, and the sounds, and the smells and the thrill. Well, you know.

WOW!!

Absolutely 100% worth every penny. The most amazing views, and a once in lifetime experience. My husband is terrified of flying and he loves it.

The only difference is you paid extra to seat upfront but that seat is very tight. I actually think that the seat at the back is better with the wind blowing in your face. Anytime is good and also rain or shine unless is... More
