Overview
During this tour of the Hana coastline, a guide navigates you along the famous road to Hana so you can avoid the hassles of renting a car and perhaps getting lost. Instead, sit back and relax while taking in the tropical sights and sounds, including the Ohe'o Stream and Pools, Wai’anapanapa State Park, and the Haleakala volcano. Plus, convenient hotel pickup and drop-off saves you time finding a meeting point.
What to Expect
After pick up from your Maui hotel, you’ll begin your epic Hana journey in an air-conditioned coach with a guide. The first stop is the laid-back town of Pai’a on the northern shore of the island.

Following that, you'll have the chance to snap some photos of the rocky shoreline of Keanae with its jagged black lava rocks before driving along to Wailua Falls, a popular attraction with a 173-foot (52-meter) waterfall.

In addition to the Hawaiian landscapes, the famous road to Hana also features hairpin turns that you'll see and enjoy without worrying behind the wheel of a rental car.

Then, just on the outskirts of Hana, you'll explore Wai’anapanapa State Park’s black sand beach, along with the Pools of Ohe’o. If time and weather permits, you might be able to take a refreshing swim in the picturesque oceanfront pools as well. At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

Three friends and I recently took this tour, with Larry as our guide. There had been confusion regarding the date that we reserved, but the company and Larry were very accommodating and changed us to the day that we had originally planned. The weather was...More

I wouldn’t have thought so as the tour is a full day (we were collected early morning and didn’t return until after 6pm!).
