Na Pali Coast Snorkel and Rafting Adventure
From US$145.94
Overview
Snorkel, swim, and cruise along Kauai’s spectacular Na Pali Coast on a half-day rafting adventure. Inaccessible by road, the coast is best seen from the water, and you'll get closer than other vessels to sea caves and waterfalls in a nimble motorized raft. Stop to explore colorful coral gardens at one of the island’s best snorkeling spots, and recharge with an included gourmet sandwich lunch on board.
What to Expect
Make your way to Port Allen Marina to meet your captain and crew, and climb aboard a rigid-hull inflatable raft. With a maximum of 14 passengers, it’s an intimate ride. Cruise away from civilization and toward the towering spires and deep emerald valleys of Kauai’s Na Pali Coast. This 16-mile (26-kilometer) stretch of coast is so jagged that no roads traverse it, so you'll get the best views from the water.

The raft’s speed and size make it possible to dart in and out of sea caves and beneath waterfalls for a perspective that larger boats can't offer (weather conditions permitting). It also allows access to Nu‘alolo Kai, one of the best reefs in Kauai, where you’ll you stop to snorkel among colorful coral gardens teaming with tropical fish. Throughout the cruise, keep an eye out for larger marine life, such as spinner dolphins and sea turtles, too.

Recharge midway through the tour with an onboard lunch, including a gourmet sandwich served with fresh fruit, cookies, chips, and a drink.

Motion sickness is a real thing

If you're on the fence with motion sickness, like sometimes you're fine and sometimes you're not, I can say this: really, really consider choosing a different adventure. The staff was fun, knowledgable, kind, and talented, but they totally underplayed how seasick a person could get....More

Fantastic Adventure!

Fantastic adventure. Definitely suggest doing this and would highly recommend the raft adventure over the catamaran so you can go inside the sea caves. The beach landing wasn't anything extraordinary, but you did get a bit of a break off the boat (with a bathroom),...More

No ladder, you step on from the dock. When you get in from snorkeling, they have a small ladder but you have to lift your foot up high and pull yourself up. There's a crew person to help lift you up if you can't do it... More

An airplane. This is a totally separate island from Oahu so you will need to hop on a plan (probably around 45 minute flight).
