Everyone at Ambergris was great! Our guides were Kayson, Manny, Danny, and Choco. All were a lot of fun and did a great job of ensuring we got to see as many amazing sights at both of our stops. They also were really patient with some of the guests who had small children, as the sea was rougher than normal due to high wind speeds. The entire experience felt incredibly safe, but was still a lot of fun. Our group saw turtles, rays, huge numbers of fish, eels, and of course lots and lots of nurse sharks. I won't ding them for not being able to get a Dolphin to show up :) All in all a great experience and one I'd recommend to all different group types.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide was Victor, who we highly recommend. He was informative with a great sense of humor. We felt safe and cared for while we snorkeled.

The Barrier Reef snorkeling tour with Carlos is absolutely the best. He is entertaining as well as the Captain of the Catamaran tour boat. His helpers make a delicious lunch and lead the group over the beautiful Reef.

It was a windy day, but the snorkeling was great. Definitely got sprayed with water on the boat ride. There were only 5 of us. We started at the Hol Chan Marine preserve. We snorkeled for an hour. There were a lot of fish in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. We saw a sea turtle as well. We jumped back in the boat and made our way to shark alley. We snorkeling amongst rays and nurse sharks. Some of the nurse sharks were up to 12 feet. We hung out here for 45 minutes before heading back to the dock. Kason was a great guide.

We booked the Mayan excursion with Tropic Air from San Pedro. The flight was 20 min. and landed at the excursion site which we then traveled 25 miles on the New River to the Lamanai temples. We saw many species of birds, a couple crocodiles, howler monkeys and turtles. The temples were interesting and rich in history.

Lovely experience - the area was filled with diverse marine flora and fauna. The water was clear and the whole experience most enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and visit again

The guides were focused on safety and maximum experience for our group. The ratio was about 5-6 people per guide, plus one that stayed on the boat. Our guide Danny was very knowledgeable about the fish we saw and was sure to point out anything special. We saw giant stingrays, barracudas, and a sea turtle, along with dozens of other varieties. Kayson was our main guide, and he also did a fantastic job ensuring everyone had a great time. The shark experience was really fun, we had so many sharks swimming around us. It felt really magical.

Awesome experience and great guides made this trip once in a lifetime adventure. Will definitely do it again. Saw a lot of different fish species, 3 different types of sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and coral formations.

Fantastic snorkeling with Raul. Visited with our 19yo son. Raul was a great guide, explained the history of the reserve, then guided us through the reef, finding and naming the sea creatures. We swam near nursery sharks, stingrays, barracudas. Also a sea cucumber, various others, more than I can remember. Gave us fruit and drinks to recharge. Will return!

Jonah, Candyman and Ryan were fantastic and friendly guides and knowledgeable about the reefs and giving a full educational back ground. You are in the water on a guided tour of the reef for a little over an hour in a small group of around 6. The second half of the trip to shark alley is a lot quicker but more time than you need for the full experience of having sand sharks swimming around you. I highly recommend and thank you to the staff.

We booked two same day trips with Ambergris ivers, to go to Hol Chan, Mexico Rocks, swim with nurse sharks and rays. It was the perfect way to end 2024. Boat crew were friendly and knowledgeable and everyone we spoke with in the shop was informative. Saw a lot, enjoyed the time. One suggestion for anyone doing several excursions- b ring added layers as you'll likely feel colder later after being in the watet so much. We wore quick dry tops in the water to avoid having too much sun exposure and to stay warmer.

Today we did the Snorkeling tour with Ambergris Divers and loved it! The staff was super nice and helpful and got to see alot of sharks and other marine wildlife! 10/10 recommend!
