On all our safaris we try to combine historical information with photographic instruction so that the client will know the context of the subject. We really appreciate this client's comment because there are so many people, like this client, who live in the DC area and yet do not get to see the eights unless they have an excuse like a relative visiting town! Months pass, years pass, and they just don't get downtown. So at Washington Photo Safari we feel we play a very useful role, not just in teaching photography but also in getting local people (who make up 80% of our 37,000 clients) to appreciate - through the lens of their camera - all the monuments and building and statues and museums their taxes have paid for!
