Highlights
    What to Expect
This great-value combo pass gives you access to three of Phillip Island’s top attractions — the Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and the Penguin Parade. The pass is valid for 6 months, so you can take your time exploring over multiple visits to the island, or see them all in one day.

Please note: The pass does not include transportation or transfers. You must make your own way to Phillip Island and between the attractions.

    Koala Conservation Centre

Come face-to-face with a handful of adorable koalas and wallabies at this tranquil nature park. Stroll along a series of elevated boardwalks through a gum tree forest, where the furry critters can be seen napping in the trees or munching eucalyptus leaves. Browse informative wildlife displays and chat with rangers to learn more about the lifecycle of Australia’s most beloved marsupial.

    Churchill Island Heritage Farm

Travel back in time at the site of the first European farm in Victoria, in operation since the 1850s. Tour the historic homestead, gardens and ranch buildings at this working heritage farm, and watch live demonstrations like sheep shearing and Australian sheep dog herding. You can purchase lunch at the island café or enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the views of Western Port and cattle grazing in the pasture.

    Penguin Parade

Bundle up and make your way to the viewing area at Summerland Beach just before sunset to watch the world-famous Penguin Parade. Be mesmerized as hundreds of fairy penguins (the world’s smallest) emerge from the ocean after a day of fishing and waddle across the beach to their burrows and chicks. Explore interactive exhibits at the visitor center and chat with rangers about this marvelous natural spectacle.

    • Phillip Island Nature Park understands the disappointment of not being able to use your camera but hopes that you have an enjoyable experience. The park did not take lightly the decision to prohibit cameras; after many years of consideration, cameras were banned for the following reasons:
    • Flash photography is at the blue end of the light spectrum and disturbs penguins; while flash photos were always banned, the park could not stop them from being used, as many flashes cannot be turned off; the taking of flash photos also disturbs other customers who obey the ban, and therefore all cameras are now prohibited
    • The parade lights are soft and dispersed at the yellow end of the spectrum; research has proven that these lights do not affect the penguins
    • All photos are banned because some new digital and video cameras are very like flash cameras in appearance
    • Since the new camera regulations, many people have commented on the improved experience while watching the parade; visitors are no longer crowded by other customers trying to take pictures, and the whole evening is now much more peaceful for both people and penguins
    • Phillip Island Nature Park's management must consider the penguins first. We hope you understand this position.

We visited Philip Island last year and watched the wonderful parade from the viewing platform as all the underground viewing was sold out. This time we booked the 3 park pass well in advance. The extra money for the view you get is well worth it as the Little Penguins waddle

I think we were lucky that the weather on the island was wet and windy all day, as it kept the numbers of tourists down. We got there early and claimed a great seat close to the front right next to one of the main paths. Our patience paid off and we saw excellent numbers of
