Hey!! Our pleasure!! Was a pretty special day out!! Glad you loved the food, we’re pretty proud of the great work that The Olive Tree cafe/ restaurant does for us :-) I personally feel that great food is such a critical part of any experience, it’s a basic human comfort that makes us feel loved on the inside I think :-) Thanks for taking time to write us a review, very thoughtful of you :-) Best wishes, Adam, George, and the team from Faith in Fiordland :-)

All aboard Faith
Feb 2021
This was an unexpected highlight of our visit to Te Anau.
This simple cruise across Lake Te Anau aboard Faith was made wonderful by our crew, Adam and George. They were welcoming, enthusiastic, friendly, fun and so knowledgeable about the boats history.. it was delightful. The canapés and wine was so special aboard the ship. Other surprises along the way..which I won’t spoil for you...DO IT! It’s an absolute must

What a delight
Feb 2021 • Couples
A totally unique and enjoyable activity in Te Anau. George and Adam were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed watching the sun set with some bubble and tasty Canapés. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the history of this special vessel too and appreciated all the small touches and attention to detail. Highly recommend this trip. Great for couples or a larger group.

Hi!! Thanks heaps for taking a moment to write so thoughtfully. We do tend to be fussy with our small details, so we’re very happy to hear that they’re well received :-) I think the elegance of the 30’s encourages this is a very undemanding way, and we’re proud to be able to continue the tradition of classy elegant living. So glad to hear you had a lovely trip with us. Thank you very much for your support, it means the world to us while we’re working hard to survive during the global challenges we’re facing. We’re getting along, and being very creative to do so, but without our passengers we’d be in a very different spot. So, thank you again!! Wishing you all the very best, Adam, George, and the team from Faith in Fiordland :-)

Great evening tour!
Oct 2020
We did the evening wine and dine cruise on 22.10.2020. Lucky us we had the whole vessel for us on my wife's birthday! I went down to look at the engine, helped setting sails and steered her back. Food and drinks were lovely. The best experience was just being around Adam and his colleague (sorry just forgot ther name). We had a great conversation about everything. We felt like we left as friends! Definitely highly recommended. We'll be back!

Hey!! I remember this cruise well, was a really nice evening out :-) I love how you’ve described the cruise, and feeling like you left as friends is probably one of the biggest compliments you pass to us. We’ve never seen ourselves as a company, or an operation, more as a group of friends sharing what we love with others. How special that you felt this way :-) We’ve always celebrated lower numbers on board. While we can take more, we’ve always limited our numbers to ensure we have plenty of time with our newly found friends, and to give you have plenty of room to enjoy the peace and quiet our dear ship offers in the National Park. Thank you for such a delightful review, very thoughtful of you to write from your heart like this. Looking forward to seeing you next, Adam, George, Rebecca and Maree :-)

Must Do
Jul 2020
Beautiful, interesting, remote. A super boar trip into a wonderful part of NZ. The boat was even special part of the Dunkirk rescue group starting during the 2nd world war starting its life in the UK now lovingly looked after by a group of southerners who offer a stunning trip on lake Te Anau out to landfall for a fun fact fulled walk. The scenery is not to be missed. With great info full talk with lots of local knowledge. The staff were lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much bother from blankets walking poles, glass of bubbly or a beer plus hot chocolate and very tasty canapés. This trip on a heritage boat is easy walking is a must do. Numbers are limited for a personalised experience and boy did it deliver.

Hey!! We have to look after you, bubbles are a great addition to cruising around the National Park :-) Really enjoyed having you both onboard, thanks heaps for your support, and choosing to come along. 7 is a perfect sized ground for still feeling like you have the whole boat to yourself isn't it?!! While we limit cruises at 16, there is still heaps of room to explore, or sit in the peace and quiet and enjoy time to yourselves. Really appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts, and what you liked, very thoughtful of you. Wishing you the best for your future adventures!! Cheers, Adam, and the team from Faith in Fiordland :-)

Scintillating Sailing ⛵️
What a marvellous evening with George and Adam on the 1935 Built Faith.
The boat has got a fascinating history, ( Even Winston Churchill has been on board)
Bubbles and beer flowing all evening with delish canopes.
This is a must do trip while in Te Anau.
You won’t be disappointed 👍🏻

Fabulous hosts, majestic setting!
May 2019 • Couples
In a majestic setting which can be found around every corner in the South Island, George and Adam took our experience to a whole new level on their beautiful vessel, Faith. Their knowledge of the lake and George's passion for the local flora and fauna were evident on a wonderful stroll to the Hidden Lake. George and Adam have spent a lot of time researching the history of the Faith which adds a fascinating layer to the cruise. From start to finish, George and Adam spoilt us with unlimited drinks, delicious canapes and their warm and friendly manner. We enjoyed the company of our fellow guests and had plenty of time to chat while cruising around enjoying the stunning scenery. Adam finished the cruise with a lovely musical performance on the way back - I won't spoil the surprise by giving details.Truly a must do experience while in Te Anau.

Stunning crew, boat and scenery.
We had an evening aboard the Faith with Groege and Adam. These two guys are the most lovely people ever! Thank you for keeping our glasses full and for keeping us entertained with your knowledge of the boat.
The food on board was first class and it was a beautiful setting to eat in.

Thank you very much,

Alice and Thomas.

Ps we will be back :)
