Overview
The black sand beaches, volcanic peaks, and rainforest-covered islands around Auckland make a spectacular backdrop for a skydive. On this tour, enjoy a thrilling tandem skydive just minutes from downtown Auckland; jump from heights of up to 16,500 feet (5,029 meters)—the highest elevation on the North Island—and get your adrenaline pumping with a 75-second freefall.
What to Expect
Your skydiving adventure begins with pickup from your central Auckland hotel and an around 45-minute transfer to the dive site. On arrival, an experienced tandem instructor will take you through a safety briefing and get you suited up in your flight gear.

Take off along Auckland’s West Coast, aboard a 17-seat turbine plane, and enjoy dramatic aerial views as you get yourself psyched up to jump. Depending on your chosen height, make your tandem jump from up to 16,500 feet (5,029 meters) and feel a rush of adrenaline on the 75-second freefall, as you reach speeds of over 125 m/hr (200km/hr).

As your parachute opens, enjoy unforgettable views over Auckland and the West Coast as you float back down to the ground. Spot the black sands of Piha Beach, the green forests of Waiheke Island, and the rugged peaks of Mt Ruapehu and Mt Taranaki.

At the end of your experience, a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
