Overview
Catch sunset at the Twelve Apostles on a Great Ocean Road tour from Melbourne along a gorgeous stretch of coast. You’ll pass picturesque towns, watch for koalas at Kennett River, and stroll beautiful beaches, pausing for lunch at a café. The departure is perfectly timed to catch “golden hour” light on the coastal cliffs and limestone pillars of the Twelve Apostles. With pickup and drop-off in Melbourne, this tour makes for a hassle-free day.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel, or at a central meeting point, then board a climate-controlled coach for the Great Ocean Road, among Australia’s most beautiful drives.
When you reach the coast-hugging road, keep your camera ready as you pass panoramic views of sandy beaches and rugged cliffs that plunge into the ocean. Pause to visit the Split Point Lighthouse that looks out across Aireys Inlet, and watch for koala bears in Kennett River, where you’ll also stop for an included lunch.
Enjoy views of the green Otway Ranges while approaching Loch Ard Gorge, then catch the day's grand finale at Twelve Apostles, whose rock formations turn rosy at sunset. When the light fades, climb back on the coach and relax during the 3-hour return trip to Melbourne, where this tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.

Great Sunset Tour!

Our guide Kurt was really friendly and knowledgable. The day is long, but we made lots of stops along the way to take photos, walk in the forest, pet Emu's, Wallaby's, and Parrots. The drive is worth it. The 12 Apostles is pretty beautiful, especially...More

Great Ocean Road trip with sweet music

It’s a wonderful trip led by Chris also know as Bear! Great job for the awesome trip, the biscuit surprise, and the wonderfully selected playlist with songs that are so appropriate after each of his commentary. Pretty awesome!

As the tour is a whole-day tour, it can be a bit tiring; however, there's a lot of stops to walk, stretch, eat, and have a bit of fun. I believe a toddler would be completely fine :)

I believe it would be a bit complicated to get picked up at your location. However, I would recommend contacting the agency directly (03) 9650 9680 or, contacting, for example, StudentFlights, who manage, and help you book... More
