What to Expect
Multi-stage transportation is provided on this day trip to Bruny Island, which eliminates the hassle of puzzling all the details out ahead of time. Begin with convenient pickup in Hobart for a 45-minute coach ride to the ferry terminal, where you'll catch the ferry to Bruny Island's Adventure Bay. On the trip, listen to commentary about the sights you pass, prepping you for your time on the island.  Upon arrival to Adventure Bay, dig in to a morning tea that includes freshly baked muffins to fuel up before catching the boat for the 3-hour cruise around the island. Find a seat in the open-air boat (with covered portions) to take in the scenery and get photo ops of the rugged coastline, including the location where the Tasman Sea meats the Southern Ocean. Listen to guided commentary and keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife such as sea eagles, great white sharks, fur seals, and dolphins. Soup and gourmet sandwiches are served when you return to shore, before drop-off back in Hobart.

Yes there is a stop at the neck and time to walk to the lookout or beach. We found the bus driver very obliging and patient.
