Overview
Explore the rugged landscape of the historic Waitpinga Farm on the back of an all-terrain quad bike. Choose from morning or afternoon tour times with different durations to suit your budget and schedule. Follow a guide to hard-to-reach areas of the farm, in operation since the 1800s, and hear commentary about the area along the way. Even beginners can participate on this tour, as all equipment and instruction are provided.
What to Expect
Arrive at Waitpinga Farm, an historic 400-acre (160-hectare) property in operation since the 1800s, for your quad bike tour. Meet your guide and group, then go over safety considerations and the proper way to operate the all-terrain vehicle. Don a helmet and take off through the rocky, hilly terrain, where ordinary tour buses can't travel.

Navigate grassy hills, open fields, and shallow creek crossings, stopping for rests and photo ops along the way. Learn about the history of the farm and the area through your guide's insightful commentary. Keep an eye out for the heritage-listed shearing shed, serving the sheep farm since 1856. Imagine what it must have been like to settle Australia during this time; the landscape has changed very little since then.

No, you do not need a driver's licence as you are completely off road. I am not sure of the max weight but check with Waitpinga Farm and I am sure they can tell you. Have fun!!
