Full-Day Whitehaven Beach BBQ, Hill Inlet Lookout, and Snorkeling Cruise
On this value-oriented full-day trip to Whitehaven Beach, take advantage of nearly everything Whitehaven has to offer: Enjoy an Aussie barbecue on the beach, take a bush walk, swim and snorkel, and ride a glass-bottom boat. Plus, the tour includes round-trip transportation from your Airlie Beach hotel.
What to Expect
Make your way to Abell Point Marina, or opt for pickup from your Airlie Beach hotel.

At the marina, board the Whitehaven Xpress ferry and head out past Whitsunday Passage toward the islands. Cruise the length of Whitehaven Beach and then head ashore on a small glass-bottom dinghy. Stop at the beach for an Aussie barbecue at a public picnic area.

Take advantage of free time to explore or relax on the beautiful white-sand beach. Visit Hill Inlet Lookout via Tongue Bay for a guided national park bushwalk, and then snorkel over coral in a protected Green Zone area. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, clownfish, and rays.

Cruise around the water on a dinghy, if you’d like, and see sea life from its glass bottom.

Once the day’s activities are done, get back aboard the Xpress, and finish your tour with a trip back to Abell Point or your hotel.
