Overview
At sunset, the play of colors across Uluru (Ayers Rock), is quite spectacular. This door-to-door guided tour hits the highlights of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in just an afternoon. First, explore the 36 surreal domes that make up Kata Tjuta (the Olgas); then transfer to the Uluru sunset viewing area and watch the light change over nibbles and a soft drink.
Highlights
  • Watch Uluru (Ayers Rock) change color as the sun sets
  • Take a guided hike through the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge
  • Enjoy a soft drink and nibbles while you watch the sunset
  • No car hire costs: Tour picks up and drops off from Yulara hotels

Guide was very informative. Smaller group so easier keeping the day moving along. Reasonable pace given the heat, and the availability of water on the bus was a plus. Seeing horny devil lizard was a plus, the guide moved him safely off the road.
