What to Expect
When booking, choose to schedule the two portions of the tour on the same day or consecutive days. Then, be ready at your hotel in Ayers Rock Resort for convenient pickup at the start of each tour.
On the evening tour, head to Uluru for a walk along the base, then follow your guide to an out-of-the-way viewing spot to toast the sunset with sparkling wine and snacks. End your experience with resort drop-off.
For the morning portion of the tour, roll out of bed for pickup and make it to Kaja Tjuta in time for a spectacular sunrise and photo ops. Enjoy a picnic breakfast followed by a walk through Walpa Gorge.
This combo allows you to see the iconic landmarks at the best viewing times in a single package. You'll also learn about the aboriginal history of the area and its unique ecology through your guide's engaging commentary.

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
I was a solo traveler and only visiting Uluru for 24 hours. This really was the best way to see Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta in the short amount of time I had—the small group size, timing, and agenda were all exceptional.
